he's streaming live right now. But how do I access the chat he's talking about? I can't seem to find it he is apparently answering questions from it.
It's not live, it's just a recording.
Damn, any tips for this zOMG Generator? I can't make any epic-looking map with artistic caves and beautiful landscapes, only raped random one-level terrain with terrific trees and nothing interesting at all.
you have to go into the "config" and alter teh values there, and make sure to save the changes.
you usually get the best maps with "Random" valued to 1.

Reposted from v5, but;
This is what Multiplayer Survival should look like when it is released. Only, more cottages and small cities surrounding the castle.
the multiworld software is user made and you can get it from Andrews site (he seems to have removed the file from his site though)
Had to reformat my vps, hosting it here until I get my vhosts set back up.
My server is back.
Sweet
Fuck yes, I got my old account back.
IMO i'd rather have notch working on improving the game itself instead of spending 3 months on infinite maps. maybe it'd be a cool addition after the game was already complete but it just doesn't seem necessary to me

It seemed like people wanted multiplayer more, but if he was going to add infinite maps he needed to do it before multiplayer. So in the end, the game will be better.

Nice prison. -_-
Infinite multiplayer is nice to have from the start as well. But I fear we may spawn too far from eachother and it'll just be single player with the occasional metal shortage.
[editline]03:51PM[/editline]
Also, yeah, prison creative :c

I can't get into my server, or any server, for that matter.
I'm just getting a black screen instead of Minecraft loading. So once I fix that, I'll get rid of it.

I can remove it for you.
Also, why aren't you on Skype?
Because Skype updated, and on Windows 7, it now won't close out of the taskbar, and it's annoying as hell.
I can't run indev or infdev. It gives me an error at first, then when I refresh the page it stops at switching java applet.

First night; 3 Creepers, 2 zombies, 4 spiders.
The best part is seconds before I came across this I was wondering, "Where am I going to get materials for a bow..."
edit
And then there was a fucking skeleton creeping around too that wasn't in that group.
edit 2
And then there were SPIDERS GLITCHED INTO THE DIRT THIS MAP WANTS TO KILL ME

Is your server down, venn? Or is the link in the OP a dead link?
Fucking automerge f.
Can someone help me with my problem?
Can someone help me with my problem?
What problem?

This problem. (I would use media tags but they don't work for me.)
Sometimes the bottom line says (5)null.
Have you tried reinstalling Java?
I was thinking about buying this game because it looks fun.
But, what exactly is it? What is it about? What do you do?
I tried watching video but it doesn't really explain much.
Indev is pretty simple. You start off in a house and have until nighttime to build up your house and get materials by hitting trees with your bare fist for wood, mashing the ground for dirt, playing bad-cop with the sand, etc. When night falls, there'll be monsters (unless you set the difficulty to peaceful in which there are no monsters), so it's recommended you go back to your base. You can then make a crafting table and extend your life in Minecraft even more with tools to help you dig and work faster, so you can build up your base and survive. Then when day arrives, you fend off the monsters (or set difficulty to peaceful :v:) and go get more materials. It's a game of build and destroy, basically. The level generator is amazing, and once you see infdev you'll never regret buying the game.
In case you didn't notice, I really like Minecraft.
[editline]02:45PM[/editline]
No really, you should get it. It's only like 15 bucks.

BIG PICTURE
This problem. (I would use media tags but they don't work for me.)

I had the same problem. Instead of minecraft.net in the address bar I did www.minecraft.net, and it worked.
Infdev looks incredible. But all I want is multiplayer survival right now! I NEED IT!
Anyone else have the problem where when you try to enable sound on Indev, the applet just freezes?
Edit
Do monsters collide with each other? I have like 5 block high walls surrounding my area and they keep climbing in.
