I can't get it working at all.. no idea how to use it :(
you need python, simplejson and twisted
I'm getting kind of bored of Minecraft. I'm not bored to the point that I'll never play it again, I just think it needs some new things. After doing everything there IS to do in indev it gets sort of boring. I'll pick it up again when multiplayer indev is out, that's what I'm most looking forward to. Minecraft is a game with so much potential it hurts.
Infdev multiplayer is going to be awesome. Creative is pretty boring compared to indev/infdev.
Hopefully Notch works on multi after he adds mobs back to infdev.

Stop playing before you milk the last few drops of awesome out of it.

I'd say so, once I fix the RAM problems.
(AKA I think I just fixed them)
Get on irc on espernet (irc.esper.net) and /query ^o^ (temporary name to piss some people off)
I think esper has a java client on their site.

Oink Lord, My Oink is also a suitable thread title.

This. I want Multiplayer survival or something!!!
Notch needs to move up on production speed or hire another skilled java expert or something. It's starting to get a bit slow in here. It may be a nearly free game but still, its a good game and it has too many customers for just one guy to satisfy them all. Atleast not in the times that he does normally give us between updates, I think he needs to get some ideas for Indev still, much like naming a territory and other stuff in the category of Towns and Tribes and stuff alike. Weekly updates are great, but normally they are small. I understand this, but I think every month or so there should be a big update that adds much more content.
I think the idea if you don't want to build the house yourself you should be able to pick from some sort of blueprint list and make a building that would take about a half of an ingame day to build and/or you can choose the same blueprint and place it above the house automatically reforming the house with an upstairs or put the blueprint next to it for the same idea but to the sides of the house.
Server Hosts will be able to make a map that everyone will start in a village of preset, the village will the center of the map, if on Infdev the village will be in a random location with near resources and food. Server Hosts will also be able to choose how long days are ingame with a 10min-4Hour limit. This would effect house blueprint building. Server Hosts will be able to set currency on or off, this will allow all players who join to start with 100 MineCoins, if disabled players will have to scavenge the lands for resources to trade with other players with what they think the correct amount is, Example:
4 Bread Loafs=1 Iron Sword or something of the likes.
Desert Option
Forest Option
Hell Option
Floating Lands Option
Flatland Option
Highlands Option
Waterlands Option (Small islands of land scattered across the world)
Urban Lands Option

He's going to develop Minecraft full time in a few weeks (or months), we can wait until then.
At least it's not like Cortex Command where any signs of progress simply vanished.
He recently moved house and was without internet for nearly a week and he does have a life and a girlfriend/fiancé to worry about as well as paying the bills.
He said though soon he'll be working on MC full time (like the above post mentioned) and that should be pretty good.

This is my only problem with your post. That pretty much defeats the entire purpose of Minecraft.

I wasn't able to fix the RAM problem and my nets are shitting, so I'll get back to you with JTE's once I can access minecraftforum.net again.

What would you rather do? Build a house or have the resources to build one and have to stand atleast 2 blocks from the house and wait for half the ingame day for the house to build itself? Most people would probably choose Building the house themself, as would I, but for those people who really don't have the time to build their own personal house can sit there while they go get some coffee or something and have some lunch or however to come back to have their small little room built, this is only just a idea and I'm in doubt of it ever being implemented. I was also thinking if you built a house you could save a blueprint of the house and send it to your friend so they can use it. It would ONLY be transferable around the one server though. Maybe while it is being built you are more open to get killed by creepers and have a smaller health portion to make it more of a survival fallback instead of a join the server and get a house in around 30 minutes to an hour sort of move.
Maybe if you had to do some sort of speedcraft minigame to have the house built where you have to choose the correct parts for a house, if you do it wrong the house is more vulnerable to other players and creepers when it is done being built, If the game is lost by making an incorrect choice 3 times, the house is only built 2 blocks high, and not allowing the player to build a house for another 3 minutes.

You do realize that Data isn't working on CC any more right?
I really want to move to Infdev but I'm enjoying my Indev map too much and I've not even got extremely far into it. I'll wait until Infdev is more developed and has some more things in it. Caves and such would be nice :p

Well then he's a massive douche.
But let's not derail this, save it for the CC discussion.

Notch doesn't need to waste time adding stupid shit. What is the point of playing when the playing part is done for you.
Creeps needed, m' lord.
I want me some new mob types. Perhaps some huge monsters? Sea creatures (Ichthyosaur)?

How do I get Iron Ore? I was beating at it with a Wooden Pick-axe and I get no ore.
How do I get Iron Ore? I was beating at it with a Wooden Pick-axe and I get no ore.
Make a stone axe then.
Wood -> gets stone
Stone -> gets iron
Iron -> gets gold/diamond
Diamond -> gets all
Gold -> as useful as wood, it sucks
