Sometimes I hear the steam message noise when I am at any place and I'm like "What the fuck".
My middle finger tends to twitch for the "quicksave" button (F6) if I've been playing a lot of STALKER.
I think everyone I know has the tetris effect.
What is the tetris effect?
In response to the threads thesis, I play Gmod. I lost my grip a while ago.
Ever since I have played duke nukem', I have dreams of 8-bit dukes following me with weapons.
Once I walked out side during the night and it was dark. So my fore finger moved to were the F key usually Is.
My dreams ALWAYS FUCKING RUN ON VIDEO GAME ENGINES. I am DEAD FUCKING SERIOUS. Last night it was the GTA San Andreas engine, but most of the time it is just Source.
What is the tetris effect?
Suddenly looking at stuff to organize as blocks and putting them together really efficiently in a short amount of time. After playing too much Far Cry 2 I keep hearing a truck driving behind me even when I'm walking.
Ive went as far as hearing gun sounds from cod4 and other FPS games while doing something completly unrelated to gaming, or sometimes find myself doing the reload animations with my empty hands. That, and running like they do in mw2
Hearing a lecturer say "Rachni" repeatedly, possibly due to sleep deprivation and mass effect. Also hearing striders and metrocops around school for the following two weeks after playing Half Life 2.
After playing the fuck out of MW2 on release, I was watching a TV show were the guys were eating at the table and arguing, I fell asleep. All of a sudden I thought "Why are they arguing, why can't they just get their guns and fuck shit up." The main character stood up, and he became "my first person view". He begun to shoot everyone. I woke up thinking "fuck...did I really play that much?" The show was "Skins" by the way
Not really a video game but sometimes I hear the 360 turn on sound randomly. Also the Windows Xp one.
I sang the cliff racers song when a bird flew into my window
I sang the big titty song when I saw your avatar

I try to turn on SETA time acceleration when I go on long trips, from playing to much X3: Terran Conflict. :downs:
:fappery:
It's an illustrated japanese cartoon character. Just to let you know.
When I first played Half-Life 2, it had the most realistic graphics I had ever seen at the time. At that time, my computer wasn't exactly the best around (I had a weak processor and a geforce 6?00.) so my graphics weren't the best. When I was outside, I would make comparisons between the graphics of HL2 and reality. I wished that the real-life "graphics/visuals" would be implemented into HL2. It was already a great game, I just wanted awesome graphics.

I think it's kind of strange that I wish these types of things happen to me. I want to be odd :(
My mind is pretty much hard-wired on video games 24/7. Alot of book ideas I plan to write are inspired by video games. Sometimes, I like to "Re-enact" certain scenes, or create my own story. And I have an insane obsession over guns now.
When ever I am running 7 laps around the track at school I keep thinking about fast forwarding the time like in ArmA II so I can just get it over with.
I start speaking a little early, so that people can hear what i say on the right moment. Then i remember i am not talking on a mic, but in front of them.
I often hear the XFire beep sound and run for my computer to see who's talking to me. Then I realize my computer is off, and it was on the TV. :(
Me and a friend were moving a couch one day, my gripped slipped and I dropped it on my foot. I yelled out MEEEEEEEEEEEEDIC.
Like in GTA 4, when I cross streets, I half-expect cars to near-hit me.
Yes son that's called common sense. If it's GTA that makes you wary of being hit by cars when crossing roads you're a god damn buffoon.
I like to imagine the Combine invasion. I like to think how I would disarm or fight someone, who was drawn a gun in my class. In all these thoughts I'm the hero, even tough I wouldn't be able to do shit in any of these situations.

After playing too much swat 4/Counterstrike I take my airsoft gun and hold it up while gripping my wrist and tend to burst into my room and look around with it, one time I saw my balaclava hanging on my lights and shot the fuck out of it. :(
One morning when I was really hungover I wanted to see what the time was so I lifted up my arm to check my pipboy then when I realised what i'd done I felt retarded.
