do it
I've watched the anime movie. :smug:
[sp]A good Hour and a half was wasted[/sp]
Sometimes I fire up Animal Crossing just because I want to play some Punch-out or Balloon Fight.
Yeah I loved some of the SNES games. Sucked that only the first one has them.
This game was so addicting it's not even funny, but once you buy the final house I kinda lost interest.
Coincidentally, I just bought City Folk last week. I played the original Animal Crossing for a whole fucking month straight. It was the shit. I saw City Folk for $15 at my local Gamespot and remembered the great times I had, so I'm playing my game in the fair village of Farton.
Would anybody like to allow me to visit their town? I never tried the town-visiting online thing yet and I'd like to try it with somebody.
I read the title as: "My best friend is fucking a cow, literally." :silent:

Whoah I thought that WAS the title until I read this post.

I would, but my Wii's disc drive is fucked thanks to me accidentally putting a piece of paper in there.

you'd be surprised by what those roleplayers will say
God dammit now Totaka's song / K. K. Song is stuck in my head
I need to find my Wild World cartridge.
Fun fact: The Animal Crossing GC iso is 32 MB only. No joke, that's how much the game takes up uncompressed.

Had the DS one, loved it, and a friend got the wii version and it reminded me just how much time I wasted on the DS one.
Will the one for the 3DS be able to work on just a normal nintendo ds? If not looks like I'm going to have to save up for a second hand 3DS when they come out, so many good looking games D:

3DS only
Holy shit this was amazing
That was the most interesting thing i have ever seen.
3DS only
Crap.
hey guys we're releasing a new system but you can run all of its games on its predecessor
just like the genesis
3ds runs ds games
genesis runs master system games
i was kinda referring to the 32x and the Sega CD and how you required a genesis
Time to start saving for 3DS and leave the old ds lite on the bedside table then
I am saving up, and trading in my old DS Lite for the 3DS.
Just a quick reminder, the pricing and release date for the 3DS will be released at a conference on the 19th.
I remember buying action-reply JUST for this game, I joined an online community and gave everybody stuff :3:

Oh, I forgot there was a Wii version of Animal Crossing. Got my Wii yesterday, gonna buy this as soon as I can.

The amazing debut of this amazing series on an amazing platform. Live your life the way you want. You start off in a train, on your own. You've moved away from home to a far away town (which you get to name!) and the first friend you make is a lovable cat named Rover. Talking to Rover and answering questions will actually decide what your face will look like. The gameplay moves at its own pace from then on. Dig up fossils, catch bugs, and fish all at your leisure. Easily the best game in the series due to all the details and features.
Wrong. This was not the debut of the series. The debut was a Japan only game for the Nintendo 64 called Doubutsu no Mori ("Animal Forest").

I remember being able to run the game without the disk in the gamecube after having started it.

Nevermind PJ64 is fucking up again
I used to love this series until I discovered Harvest Moon/Rune Factory, AKA not-pointless Animal Crossing.

Ah shit, I guess I forgot. Anyhow that is essentially the same game, plus it was only released in Japan and it had stopped production due to some reason of which I forget.
Anyways. I wanna play City Folk but my Wii (as stated before) is broken. I know it's the drive. I'm wondering if it'd be worth it to spend money on the precision screwdriver, the tri-screwdriver, and the replacement drive.
[editline]15th January 2011[/editline]
I'm adding Dobutsu no Mori to the OP anyways

Technically Animal Crossing for the Gamecube was the debut of the series itself, seeing as how that's why the sequels were made.

So I clicked on this and started reading, I was like "pfft this is gonna suck" but I kept reading.
Now I sit here writing you this message while curled into a ball, asking myself if I'm an animal. Is that large collection of gyroids in my house doing this to me? What's going on, oh god oh god.
From, CowThing.
