This game always looked interesting to me, and I've been a starwars fan since i was like 7 lol, but I think I'll wait until SWTOR because I hear so much about this game being raped in the ass by sony that it's complete shit. Not to mention its getting somewhat old now and Bioware makes awesome games, so I think ill wait for that.

Well seeing as I'm still on a trial account, I decided to start a toon on Starstrider because apparently it's more populated. So I did and I must say it's a lot more populated than Bloodfin, there's people everywhere in every area and I also got to see the Imperial forces whoop as on a Rebel assault.

If I do subscribe it would probably be on that server because it feels more alive, sorry FP. :(

Turns out I may have to redo my D Jedi on Bloodfin. For some reason Starstrider seems extremely laggy now. When I click a skill or open something it takes ages. BACK TO BLOODFIN!

I would recommend it, and yes I think that the steam vers. works properly.
Recommending because a few days back I made a new medic character and I was able to sustain him on the credits he made himself fairly easily.

I tried the trial for a couple of days and I am really not sure to say about the game.
The space-thing was very good and a really nice idea. Also the character creation part is really detailed (for a mmo) and also a plus.
But the combat-system, inventory and general hud is really confusing, and that is not good. Also it is really buggy.
A good mmo should not have any major bad sides, but some really good pluses. SWG have some good sides, but also some quite annoying bad sides. Hence it gets a 5/10 from me.

It has a learning curve, the UI Isn't at all confusing if you play for a week or so and actually get your feet wet. I also only get very minor bugs from time to time like my pet getting stuck in combat or NPC pathing issues. Nothing game breaking

Spaceship missions are annoying, and I have one that is impossible.

It pretty much goes like this:
-Destroy a 5 enemy spaceships of this and this type (while being under fire)
-Destroy the enemy commander's spaceship (while being under more fire)
-Go to a place (while being blown up)

I'm constantly under attack by at least 4 enemies, and when I destroy them they just respawn or whatever.
And they have missiles... MISSILES. And what do I have? A shitty ship with a laser weapon that hardly does anything.

Frigging annoying...
