Star Wars Galaxies [Come Play! <V 2.0, Now With Less White Noise> - Games

I'm fairly sure I was on Tempest... I quit because I played for 3 years and the game pretty much died. I don't see whats to like anymore, other than pvp & my server was horribly imp overwhelmed. Only thing I really still like about that game is playing as spy, its so fucking fun. If I ever went back, it would be only to rack up a bounty and just continually kill BH's that come after me. It's the most satisfying thing in the world.

Feel free to take my account. username: vinsenen password: damsdams22 secret answer: batman First one there and to change password gets it I guess. Character is a level 90 BH on Europe Chimare. The alt is a lvl 90 entertainer but can be respec'd to a lvl 90 trader. The BH has full composite with some stats mods on it. I don't remember having much cash left but my house is decorated a bit and have stuff that can probably be sold for a little profit. Now go get it!

It doesn't look like anything special. $15 is a lot of money a month for something that just looks average. I like how you can have professions though, thats clever and fun.

Galaxies is near death. I am almost sure it will not last the year. I really would just suggest waiting for The Old Republic if you want a good Star Wars MMO.

I never knew Galaxies was on Steam. Besides the core game is free, you just have to pay for subscription. The expansions will cost you extra though.

Bloodfin was the fun pvp server tho. Although it is hard doing pvp when you are the only one in a planet.

I bought and played this game for a short while in '07. I loved it's world. The exploration and accessability was rely endeering. I plan on buying it tomorrow. But I won't activate the account for a while. I have quite a number of games to play before I get to Galaxies. [editline]07:25AM[/editline] Although, I remember it being hideous. But I was on a terrible computer (there is a quest on Tatooine where you race on a vehicle, if I didn't look up during that race, I'd blue screen). Is this game bad lookig? Screenshots demonstrating it's visuals would be nice. It won't affect my purchase. But it'll make me happier.

To be honest SWG's graphics are really dated, but they still look really good compared to other MMO's. Swg was a game way a head of its time, then it got fucked and sent back to the stone age.

Looking at those screenshots made me miss decorating houses, was my favorite thing to do in SWG :( While the graphics are dated by todays standards, I find them appealing for some reason and find that I like the graphics in SWG much more than any other MMO, even the ones with far superior graphics.
