I always had a tub of lego and like 10 random pieces of megablocks that wouldn't fuck off.
yeah when i was a kid for christmas i just got this huge megablock ship. it sucked ass because it was put together the way LEGO sets were put together before the 60s, where you just put a bunch of all of these 2wx4lx3h blocks together to form one big ass two foot piece, incredibly inefficient, and didn't even resemble a boat up close. and it broke apart way too easily. and then i just had all these fucking shitty 2x4x3 megablocks pieces, that didn't even want to click with my LEGO pieces, and wouldn't even click with each other.
and they totally stand out, too. LEGO pieces are mostly shiny and smooth, and then megablocks are these ugly matte pieces of shit that aren't smooth

megablocks usualy have all the smaller pices underneaht for detail and a few large pices covering the vehicle(i know i used do buy them sometimes because lego is SOOO expensive here)

Oh,they aren't prebuilt, there are large armor pieces blocking your view of the tiny parts that make up the vehicles.
And Megablocks is more detailed and better to look at then Halo, as in you get almost exact replicas of the things they are based on, instead of a Lego version where it's pretty much blocky. Or, to be more accurate, Megablocks does scenery/set pieces/characters better then Lego.
But yeah, they do fall apart quickly, Lego wins in that round. Lego is way more durable.

I'm quite impressed that Halo managed to get a building block merchandise deal.
But unfortunately it's not Lego and so it's not worth my money.
I'd cum buckets to see Half-Life 2 Lego.

And these armor pieces are hard to use in a custom creation if you want to make one. Because they're tailored for that set and that set only.
Both Lego and Megabloks make these tailored pieces - but Lego's are less frequent and more reusable.
Like the little springy bit on the Lego football sets. Those were used in a Viking set as the firing mechanism for a cannon that auto-reloads with a clip.
But Bionicle seems to have new pieces every time a new set comes out, especially for those projectile weapon gadgets. I don't like that in Bionicle, but oh well. I don't bother buying any now anyway.

This. The only reason I might buy this would be for the cute little grunts. But I wouldn't use the rest of the set, because then I'd feel like I'd betrayed Lego. So I'd just pretend that the minifigures from the sets weren't Megablocks, and feel a whole lot better about myself for buying it.
