Let em stop all of you complainers right here. GP is barely affected by performance. For the sake of this example we will use a GP value of 120 a game. (Max is 180 in a single game)
Game Time = 10 minutes
GP Earned per game = 120(ish)
Permanent Bolt Rifle Receiver = 5500 GP
5 500 / 120 = 45.8333333
46 Games to get 1 permanent receiver that completely changes your gun forever.
46 x 10 = 460 Minutes
460 / 60 = 7.66666667 Hours
So about 8 hours (with that low GP gain and it doesnt matter if you win or lose) to get a drastically new gun permanently. You can even rent the gun for those games you are earning it!
Lets compare it to the popular game League of Legends.
Game Time = 30 minutes
IP Earned per game (win) = 140(ish)
Permanent Champion = 6300 IP
63 000 / 140 = 45 WINS
45 wins to get 1 permanent champion that completely changes the way you play. And thats only if you win every game.
45 x 30 = 1350 Minutes
1350 / 60 = 22.5 Hours
So about 22.5 hours (with ONLY WINS) to get a drastically new champion permanently.

It's telling me my email has already been registered (which I think is a fallacy), but when I try to recover my username/password it tells me it doesn't have my email address in the system. It's quite strange.

Blacklight: Retribution doesn't just have the receiver, it also has a muzzle, barrel, magazine etc.
So when you put those along with the receiver, suddenly it's a lot of time.
Granted, getting one fucking item takes [I]just[/I] 7 hours. But then again one item doesn't make you good and in this game items are the meta.
i'm using the default gun and it's a bit sad seeing how much i roll enemies. also this isn't the best score i've had but this is pretty much a common steamroll.

I'm using a modded Burst Rifle and holy shit, getting 39/0 every other game. That thing is a god-like killing machine.
Hardsuit in deathmatch is the fucking best. Like, ever.

from my short time playing, I would say it's something like a mashup of CoD (aim down sights, sprinting with stamina, weapon customization), CounterStrike (tight controls, somewhat fast pace, emphasis on team communication) and Team Fortress (specialised player roles like stealth, medic and heavy weapons), with a sort of cyberpunk twist.
Some things I like:
Hipfire isn't a totally useless huge firing cone where bullets come out of the barrel at some strange 45 degree angle, unlike most games that feature aiming down sights. Your first few shots are usually dead on unless you're sprinting and jumping around, and with semiauto/burst rifles your hipfire is pinpoint accurate while crouched.
You can sprint for longer than 5 seconds, at a pace that's faster than "plodding".
You can take out inexperienced hardsuit pilots by circling around them and beating the shit out of them with the butt of your rifle.
Most players seem to have a hard time hitting you if you jump a lot but it also makes it near impossible to aim, and you can spend entire rounds pissing everyone off by never dying and never killing anyone as you hop your way through intense battles.
You can play as a female with a child voice, for all you weeaboo types. This also pisses everyone off.
Your guns can be painted metallic gold. Or any one of like 80 different colours and camouflages. Same goes for your armour.
Silly dubstep track at the end of every round.
Ultimately however i stopped playing due to how slowly ingame monies are earned compared to how much it takes to unlock even the cheapest items for more than a few days.
Whoo whoo, free GP event is now over.
I played like 7 hours so I'll wait patiently for my 2100 GP and then permanently unlock myself a god damn gun.

I had the same problem, but eventually it fixed itself. (I ended up using gmail instead of aol mail.)

Is it just me or does this game crash very often?
I've had some great times playing this so far, but man I wish they would fix the hit registry already it's so aggravating.
