Now you're refusing to acknowledge my point because you know you're wrong. Grow up, people don't all have to conform to the same belief.

I didn't say that, I just don't share your opinion.
I hate this type of DRM, so I am right to think of this.

But you called me a troll in your edit of my post. You said exactly that, sir.

People need to feel more relaxed and not to be attacked all the time at the slightest remark.
Yay for mature debates on the internet...
isn't Blizzard doing the exact same thing with Battle.net? I still don't get why people are so fed up with this
People, you need to stop complaining so much about the DRM. It's not THAT bad. Atleast you don't have limits to how many times you can install it.
You can play it offline,
You can download the game to your computers,
There is an online community,
You don't need a CD in your computer to play the games,
It automatically updates your games to the most recent version,
You can easily play your games with your saves on other computers.
There are promos sales on games all along the year.
Should I say more? The only thing you need on Internet is to install your games, nothing more.
You cant sell your games. That is a HUGE disadvantage and i dont get why they dont introduce a
"unlink key from account" feature, unless they are trying the same thing that everyone else does: destroy 2nd hand market.
The pros outweigh the cons but not being able to sell something is a huge deficit.
ITT: OH NO QQ a game that is based around multiplayer is requiring me to be connected to the internet to play!!!! WAAAaaaaaaAAaaaAaaAhHhH!
You've missed the point entirely.
Aside from the fact that it has singleplayer as well, ubisoft have already proven they don't have stable servers.
Also, I like to be able to play games when I can't access the internet.

That depends of the person, but I can agree with you. But by myself, I never sell games because I will regret it after, so this fact is nothing to me.
who the fuck buys an RTS for single player?
also you're acting like DRM makes the game bad. The game itself is the game, leave the DRM out of your judging.

DRM only polices those who actually bought the game but does nothing against those who pirate it, it's about as much of a fail as the War on Drugs was.

In this specific case you're wrong though. Assassin's Creed 2 still doesn't work with a crack and people who have bought it have generally had no issues barring the downtime at launch, which was a DDOS if I recall.
every one they come out with gets cracked in less than 24 hours.
C&C4 got cracked before it was even out.
any pirated game you downloads going to have the crack, therefore this drm is useless.

Ive never heard of an offline MMO
battle.net isnt doing this, your wrong.

Are you talking about Multiplayer or the whole game? One way or another it'll get cracked, i've never seen a game that has been unable to be cracked.
Everyone get into the Beta and submit their DRM as a bug :v:

haha what multiplayer? I said assassin's creed 2. Singleplayer. It still crashes when you try to enter the animus and at a few other crucial moments. AKA it's unplayable if you pirate it.

It's just a matter of time. Just a little.
I just hope that ME3 (EA) will have not this fucking invasive DRM of I will burn of rage like a shining star.

But the DRM is doing a good job of delaying it and possibly increasing sales (frustrated pirates who really really want to play the game)
Assasins creed 2s crack came out 24 hours after the game was released, stop bullshitting about it not being cracked.
LOLOLOL
its not increasing sales, name a game that hasnt been cracked.
Like I said, every pirated version you download comes with a crack, and that cracks going to be a working one.
This is doing nothing to stop pirates, its only creating them.

You live in another dimension, my boy.
Nobody have a perfect (even LAN) connection and everyone do not want to have the feeling of being treated like thieves after purchasing it. And purchased a game like it was a rented game, which you can't sell it and can't play over 5 years, is kinda a dick move from Ubi (and EA).
When you buy a game, you own entirely the game.

The downloads that were up the same day it came out were just disk images and came with no crack, and the "Crack" that was released a few days after the game came out hasn't worked for anyone from what I've heard so far. You get to the animus and it crashes.

No you don't. You virtually never own games or software that you purchase. You are licensed to use it strictly under the terms and conditions set forth by the distributor/publisher/developer/whoever else is involved in the chain.
If you're going to talk like you know what you're talking about you should make sure that you actually do know what you're talking about.
That sucks. I never play RTS games online, just against bots usually and my internet likes cutting out. Guess I won't be buying this one.
It works sometimes and crashes according to google, but every other game has been cracked.
Edit
nevermind, searching on youtube found a crack released in december with a fuckton of views and comments saying it works.

AC2 wasn't even close to release in December, it will have been out for 2 weeks tomorrow.
Again, if you're going to talk like you know what you're talking about, you should actually know what you're talking about.
It's hilarious how much you idiots bitch and moan about this when you know virtually nothing about it other than what you've heard in other people's misguided cries of agony.

Good thing i don't "virtually" own some of my games then huh ;) If i'm going to sell a game i bought to a friend, i have the right to damn well sell it anyway i please. And no publisher or developer is going to stop me from doing so.

yea lol, just look at spore, that was apparently the most pirated game ever simply BECAUSE of it's DRM.
Eh, wasn't that great of a game anyway.
The WWII theme is aging. The only things I thought were cool were the teams that weren't German or American, and how you could choose the era.
well then FUCK YOU UBISOFT i will buy just cause 2

WW2 in gaming is like a US oil field... IT'S RUN DRY PEOPLE, MOVE THE FUCK ON, WERE GETTING TIRED OF KILLING NAZI'S, I MEAN, FUCKING SERIOUSLY.

That still doesn't mean that you own it. By selling the game you're transferring the license not the ownership of the game (since you never had that to begin with).
