You really can't speak yours opinions without understanding the problem and without treating others like morons and etc, can you ? When your future favorite will be released with this invasive DRM, will you buy it? Of course, only madmen will buy this thing like a rented game that will be only playable for some years and which necessited a permanent connection. It's like throwing your money from the window.
And for the fact you can play without problem, but where are you when you play the game? In your house in the center of city? What happens if my Internet connection will be cut for some maintenance, or if I want to play in a laptop ? Have you considered these problems in your minds ? I don't think so...
Like I said before, if Mass Effect 3 will be released with DRM, I will be mad at this news, because ME3 is my favorite serie and I could not play anywhere, anytime with this fucking DRM.
How do you know either Ubisoft's severs don't go down frequently ? :smug:
[editline]09:24PM[/editline]
Well, hello, you quote the only exception... Even if they didn't have good sales in the beginning, they gain much better in Steam sales.
I'll buy it because I'm not a whiny twat. Honestly it really isn't that bad and it's better than no games being made for the platform at all (which again I wouldn't mind as long as it stopped you whiny twats from having more shit to whine about for no goddamned reason).
Also I treat people like morons because you simply can't grasp the concept of owning a license.
Also ubi's are fine, never had an issue with SH5 barring the time some faggots DDOS'd the servers.
Even then -- I don't consider the internet problems because playing games on the go is stupid barring handhelds, there's this thing some of like to do called "being social."

That's irrelevant though, they had to shut down.
You pay for it as part of your rent it isn't "free", and apparently you do put up with it.
Oh gee, thanks for telling me what I do and don't pay for.
And what makes you think I put up with it?
You are jumping to a hell of a lot of conclusions.

You consider it like something completely needless but it doesn't mean it's not irrevelant. You really need to place your opinions in a better way.
And since treating people like morons is being social ? You never cease to amaze me, you know.
That's irrelevant though, they had to shut down.
They didn't have support and advertisement of their games before. Ironically, pirates were the fuel to make a game a buzz some times after, for people to buy it after.
I don't treat everyone like a moron, I only treat people who actually are morons like morons.
Should have rephrased that, I treat you like a moron since you can't grasp that basic concept.
Playing games on the go can still happen with this DRM anyway since you can buy a 3G/4G hotspot so that argument is literally moot.
No it doesn't ,after reading the comments people say" I can finally get into the animus" and stuff.
Actual comment
"w00t got to mission 7!! thx for the crack "
They are fake. Stop being a twat.

Now you can't think of a reply with substance so you're just resorting to posting image macros.
Your whole post was hilarious man.
adt stop being cheap drm isnt the root of all evil. ive played ubisoft and ea games on the pc that use drm and i havent experienced any issues, and as far as i know not many other people have. you really should look at this through the publishers/developers eyes. they want to get paid for what they do, and they dont want people to steal it, so they put drm on it to ensure this.

ye big companies are pure evil go valve and all indie devs
Dude, I've been reading your posts, and just shut up. You're really annoying and you don't know what you're talking about. You're calling other people morons because they dislike the DRM. You have to be logged online to play singleplayer, that's bullshit. If you can't see that being bullshit, you sir are clearly the moron.
He's quite the shit poster, just ignore him.
Ignorance certainly is bliss in this situation.

Well, at least, you have more common sense than 133753P34K in your post.
The CD-Key was a better system than this thing. Limited activations and SECURom were especially annoying but at least not so intrusive at this.
I don't want to steal people's work (and I can understand the feeling but like I explained earlier a pirated game doesn't mean a lost sale, it's the contrary in fact !), but hell, when I am speding my money on something, I am owning everything on it. It's like when I am buying a book but finally editors can take my book back at anytime.

i agree that that isnt really fair, but i cant really think of any time my pc would'nt be online.
The DRM is about to be cracked, RUSE will be on the scene in a matter of hours after it's released.

once again i agree that isnt fair but i dont see any reason ubisoft would take away the game from a customer out of the blue.
I cannot believe what is happening to the video game market, it is going downhill with all this DRM Bullshit, all they need is Steam.
Steam doesn't stop pirates from anything. Valve just doesn't talk about piracy.
adt stop being cheap drm isnt the root of all evil. ive played ubisoft and ea games on the pc that use drm and i havent experienced any issues, and as far as i know not many other people have. you really should look at this through the publishers/developers eyes. they want to get paid for what they do, and they dont want people to steal it, so they put drm on it to ensure this.
They were having issues when they were being ddos attacked, that brought down the servers meaning people couldn't play.
Also we all realise why they're doing it, to get more money for their work yes but what they don't realise is that it puts alot of people off so they lose money in the end. Alot of people will just want to pirate it.
I'm one for people having protection against piracy but I see no point when it is cracked days before release and/or fucks people over requiring a stable internet connection when some people don't have that.
Steam doesn't stop pirates from anything. Valve just doesn't talk about piracy.
Pirates can never be stopped, they will always will find a way around anything. All this DRM is actually punishing legit costumers.
I never said it wasn't. I agree.
Pirates can never be stopped, they will always will find a way around anything. All this DRM is actually punishing legit costumers.
steam drm doesnt harm legit customers. if companies feel the need to make drm unfair they should just use steam

I'm treating you like a moron because you clearly are, yet again proven by the fact that you're still going off with your misconception that the game will suddenly stop working after a couple years (which is completely unfounded by any legitimate source, or any ounce of reason)

The developers stated that 90% of the people playing their game pirated it. If you honestly think that is the only exception when the numbers are that huge you are dumber than I thought. Use your head.
We all thought Ubisoft were an amazing game company, but now they prove us wrong
I'm treating you like a moron because you clearly are
Why being so rude ?

There is a offline mode, which I can play games I have installed earlier. Incredible, no?
I WIl TAKE MY COMPTURE WITH ME EVERYWHER 2 PLAY MASS EFFEX!!
You said this like playing games on a laptop reveals to the science-fiction. And yes, many friends I know play on a laptop (Especially Modern Warfare 2, but I don't judge this game here)
How do you know they will?

This is ubisoft's fault... how?
Seriously it isn't their fault your ISP is shit.
Bad reading because you didn't see my point. If you have a shitty ISP, then expect to lose saved games, mutiplayer connections, and the game functionality all-together often. Why punish those less fortunate ISP wise?

I fucking hate you.

Ahem, EA?
These days the only publisher I would consider "Evil" is Activision, evil isn't the right word really.
I just think Kotick is a prick, like the whole "game development shouldn't be fun blah blah blah i'm an ass" stuff just makes me feel like he's probably a giant prick.
Why being so rude ?
Because you're acting childish and I wanted to join the fun :)
There is a offline mode, which I can play games I have installed earlier. Incredible, no?
What about when offline mode doesn't work? The last couple times I've tried using offline mode it hasn't worked at all.
You said this like playing games on a laptop reveals to the science-fiction. And yes, many friends I know play on a laptop (Especially Modern Warfare 2, but I don't judge this game here)
I'm saying this more in the if you're going out somewhere why do you want to be playing computer games in the first place. Not to mention, it's not like it's at all hard to find a wifi connection when you're out and about these days.
You didn't anwser to my question. :smug:
That's because it was a dumb question to begin with. Do you honestly believe that a multimillion dollar company isn't going to take precautions to help insure server stability?
Do you understand what logic is?
