most i have seen are some system of running water and lava but i have very little resources and havnt explored much so i cant build anything to big

lava burns the drops, he means just a hole they fall in and you kill them.

I was the same, luckily a HD failure wiped my saves and managed somehow to get that vibe back from starting over \o/
Plus, SMP with working mobs should be epic fun! Going to start a new map for it on J-Server.

Some weird shit happened and i lost everything.
All my buildings(except light tower) disappeared and a giant hole appeared.

Very impressive, How long was this single cave run though? I'd have to say a good 3-4 hours by the looks of it, at least.
About bloody time he fixes the leaves, playing survival but having to manually clear leaves was really annoying. (didn't want to risk a forest fire by burning the leaves)

Am I the only one not looking forward to PvP? Everyone has glorious ideas of big battles and traps that would take place but I'm picturing it as everyone spams jump and space with their wooden swords in a laggy clusterfuck.

Just disable it on your server, or ask an admin to disable it/god mode you

For first, yes. SMP is horribly laggy, but the rest depends on the script.

It reminds me of some garry's mod servers. You only wanna build something but some griefers come from nowhere and keep killing you and/or destroying your stuff.
If I ever do play online it's gonna be on a server with PvP off and people can't mess with your stuff.
