The games purpose is to stretch your creative limits, while throwing deadly monsters at you. Imagine washing up on new land where you've never been before. You have no tools, weapons, NOTHING other than your clothes. You have to make your own life.. your own buildings..you need to be smart and make your own blocks, tools, stuff like that. You make your own story.
