I think tomorrow i may host a TDM server for a while if it works.
Players will get about 20 minutes (1 minecraft day and night) to built forts, craft weapons, etc, then PvP will be turned on. Winner is team with most kills after 30 minutes, then map resets.

Progress report Captain General Major sir:
I made a small building away from my base, a place to rest for a while. I found a large desert plain, and made a bunker there that actually seemed realistic. As I was digging, I noticed a lot of sand was misplaced. Digging it all up, I found a large hole going down to bedrock.
I blew up part of the cave further on, and found that I was next to the coastline of my land. Ironically, the ocean was one block away from flooding the cave. I have since mapped the borders of my island.

Profanwolf's server is one of the few that has a very distinct ban on item hacking (apart from lightstone), so I think I'll stick to there rather than get assraped by diamond swords.
