This would be very cool. Imagine a Mining Chant - you lay a shape on the ground with different materials and light it with steel and flint.
rock - digs down 1 layer, doesn't give any materials back
iron - digs down 5 layers, gives back dug ground and rock
gold - digs down 10 layers, gives back everything
diamond - digs down 20 layers
or something like that.
Basically, what I'd like to see in the future are more mining and building utilities. New tools, new things and reasons to mine. A larger focus on terraforming than on fighting and survival.

Oh hey, I just realized, the texture pack support means you won't have to reinstall your pack after every update! Now all we need is mod API and the game will be completely moddable! Minecraft just keeps getting better and better! :buddy:

It does work pretty freaking well, though at distance the colours spread to much. Go for it!

Okay so you can now download Version 1.0 of my website template. For those of you who download it let me know what I can change, fix and anything else you might want me to add. Here is what it looks like.
