So I installed that Hookshot mod and it didn't work, so I posted on the minecraft forums about it and had a long conversation and I got this.

my advice is always to delete the meta-inf folder if it hasn't been deleted already, because people forget that step a lot in their custom-made mod loaders

What's weird about that is that I never deleted that after the Halloween update and all my mods work fine.

Yes, and some manual adjustment, and I'm planning to spice it up.
Theres also new tools made by dill and new buckets.
