Ah yes I did that, I already fixed it.
There was a World 5 and a World 6 as a consequence of an earlier crash, when I deleted those everything went back to normal.

You don't even need flint unless you want to make a flint and steel, which only requires 1 flint.

Well I saw this huge gravel thing and cleared it out, and I can use the flint for arrows, i haven't found a skeleton spawner yet, which is what the map in paint.net is
Well that was weird. Filled in a hole in the desert with sand and suddenly a whole "road" of sand drops down and reveals an ore-rich cave.

I think gravel should just disappear and sometimes throw out a flint if you use your fist to destroy. And if you destroy it with shovel, you get the block and sometimes flint too.
I mean, it's so far the most useless block type for me. It only glogs up the inventory for me.

Miniblocks lag the shit out of MC
I remember some dumbass in a server spawning thousands of blocks at once, which makes the miniblocks. The server crashed immediately, and one player got a BSOD (the host maybe). It was funny.
Gravel sucks.

So I was counting how many trees are connected via leaves in this one place and when I got my count up to 24 I fell through a tiny 3 block hole into a cave that didn't have any other ways out or ore.

With the Biome mod... Just play around with these 4 settings:
LandscapeFractureHorizontal:0.0
LandscapeFractureVertical:0.0
VolatilityPrimary:0.0
VolatilitySecondary:0.0
And the water level looks to be fairly low, default is 64, this guy probably has it at 15-20.. Take the FractureHorizonta/verticals and up them to 10, and the Volatility to maybe 20-25ish to get wide opens areas with huge cliffs and overhangs and whatnot like the video (I think)
The BiomeMod is pretty cool but it's starting to ruin Minecraft, No more naturally generated beautiful scenery, just tweaked to be that way always... I had some fun with it, went back to not using it, it still makes some damn cool looking features though
I never really liked the biome mod. It's pretty glitchy too, and can break your game easily.
So I figured they were not happy enough.

I'll just wait until Notch makes some biomes increase volatility and elevation instead of just plains and deserts lowering them
