How can I toggle day and night now?
I placed it in my minecraft.jar, that should be alright.
Well, i normally hate digging mines. If i find a cave network, i usually square it off, and follow natural tunnels to the surface, and build a skylight and ladders there. It makes me feel like i am insignificant in the world, and no matter what i do, i won't even scratch the surface of the planet.

Press F7 once to keep the sun hanging at Noon (in the middle of the sky, doesn't move) and press F7 again to switch to the moon.
F8 switches to morning/night (which the sun/moon moves with this)

Anyone know of a way to set it up so you can get somewhere in a minecart but not on foot?
I've just found an indescribably massive amount of clay surrounding a lake, I've filled several chests with clay balls and I've hardly scratched the surface. This is fucking nuts.
My diamond shovel is almost broken now from clay digging, and I've still got a loooooong way to go.

15360 blocks dug and kept, would reckon I lost quite a few more, and about 3000 blocks in the sphere itself
Now to fill it with levels and trees and things that don't take 7 days to complete O_O
And as for mods and stuff, I play complete original and dislike mods and cheats so guess what? I don't use them. Its about what you enjoy doing!

When you destroy the leaves of a tree, there is a chance it drops a sapling.
You pretty much get it out, and plant it! It needs a bit of room to grow though.
