Everquest didn't really make a ding noise if I recall. It was more of a trumpet sound I think

Just kited a Pit Commander to Honor Hold on my newly dinged DK. Dinged 80 with it yesterday, my 4th 80. What class should I level next?

Yeah Mage is a lot of fun while levelling once you get over the hump of having fuck all spells and no survivability (about level 40.) How'd you manage to kite the Pit commander? Doesn't he reset at any range?

I don't think he does, all I did was walking backwards hitting him now and then. Kept my diseases up at all time too, went good.

Bleh.. I don't even remember a good leveling build. But improved Blizzard and improved Cone of Cold are good I guess. I aoe'd A lot when I leveled on my mage. Pull mobs, frost nova, get away, summon pet, blizzard them, when frostnova brakes, use petnova, blizzard more, use cone of cold if you want to seem cool. Use blink to be cool as well. I thought my dps were pretty nice until I joined the guild I'm in at the moment. I'm pulling off like 7-9k DPS in ICC 25 man on the static dps bosses, but I'm only on 9th-12th in DPS. Man, even the 2 combat rogues in the guild pull off 10k+ dps on most of the bosses. /sigh They have a lot better gear though, but still!

Keep perfecting your rotation and positioning too.

Why would a warrior use a weapon chain? Chains don't stack with weap mastery.
