I was hoping EA would try and revive it after Pandemic went under, apparently not :C. Atleast they got a beta patch out so it's playable on my PC.
Only things I didn't like were how easy it was to evade the Nazis sometimes (though I suppose it would be frustrating otherwise) and the historical inaccuracies with weapons, and the addition of fictional enemies when real-life counterparts had existed (Wulf Tank = Tiger Tank, Terror Squad = SS Soldiers). They could have better used the weapons too. The MP44 should have been given to SS Troops at max wanted level, and do as much damage as a rifle, while being automatic.
Oh, and how controlled territories were completely desaturated and in constant darkness. I know it's part of the art style, but half the time I can't tell the road from the wall.

But I'm just picky, really this game is awesome.
Everyone's hot for Skylar.
A shame they had to close down Pandemic, it was a great swan song.
I don't think the SS troops of WW2 (while elite in their own regard) quite stand up to automatic-shotgun-wielding armored supersoldiers.
This was a really great game although I really disliked the "press mouse 1 to win" ending.
There should be more sandbox WW2 games.
Also the black/white stuff was pretty ''artistic''. But it didn't make the game more fun to play.
This was awesome :buddy:
The ending part [sp]at the Eiffel Tower[/sp] was soooo atmoshperic.
[sp]Mainly because the pianist commander so I didn't kill him[/sp]
This was a good GTA. I wish pandemic were still here making us star wars games.

We both felt and did the same things.
Bought this on PC, never got it to work. :(
God damn the ending made me regret that I massacered so many Nazis. Then again, Sean can justify that due to Dierker thinking that he was a British Spy.
Also there should be a sequel set in Yugoslavia/Independant State of Croatia. Yugoslav Partisans were much more badass than the French Resistance.
Also here's some more OST.
Menu Theme.

"Feeling good" on Nazi Piano during the last mission.

I remember the racing part early in the game. Got second place!
Pandemic made a masterpiece. The ending really did make me want to [sp] Stuff a grenade down every nazi's throat that was on the Eifel Tower. [/sp].
The part when [sp] Luc died [/sp] really was sad. Pandemic will be missed, and avenged, and they did go out with the biggest bang a video game company could make. Some of my best memories with gaming is in Mercenaries.
I still have the music which played in the strip club on my phone :v:
L'homme que j'adore.
Incredibly underrated game. It didn't bring a gaming revolution, but damn.. it was so much fun. So good I consider it a member of my all-time Top 10 games, along with LBA2 or Mafia 1.
Also, does anyone hate the mass enemy car spam when the Germans go on any alarm state? During Alarm 1 every street is patrolled by max. five sturmwagens or motorbikes.
fuck, that piano song is awesome. I executed all the nazis on the last level (the ones that were alive..) and I regret it now :O! installing this soon..
What's your favorite way to kill the gestapo generals? I like either stealth killing them with the dagger or using the Thompson and shooting the general and the two guards from the front. Also do you guys want me to add a section going over all the weapons or perks in the OP?

I would always sneak down behind him and the guards, take out the guards without the general noticing, take one of their uniforms, walk up to the general, face him in front, and stab him.
This game was so fucking great. the gameplay wasn't anything ground breaking but the story felt so good. The location and plot were really unique and kept me glued tot he screen. also, that sprintis piano music was the most chilling thing when you advance up the tower at the end.
LISTEN. If you see this game cheap, BUY IT! You will not regret it.
It drives me near ballistic that pandemic was shut down. If I even end up at the head of a publishing company I would demand another Saboteur.
I hated the grey tinge to everything, I have it installed now and I really, really cannot play any level with that shitty saturation.
Huh, this game featured nudity didn't it? I'm surprised it didn't get shot down by angry soccer moms.

The game didn't got shot down by angry soccer moms. The angry soccer moms got shot down by the game.
Besides, what's Paris without whorehouses everywhere?

What does that mean :v:

It more difficult for soccer moms to condemn black gangbangers than partisans defending LIFE, LIBERTY and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS(tm)
Never played this game though it looked really interesting.
Got it for PS3 back when it released. I'm giving to to my brother this year for christmas.
