I have completed my awesome smiley emblem. Now I just need to put it on every gun. :v:
I hope you mean a smiley you think is awesome as opposed to the 'awesome face', I've seen too many of them :v:
I made an awesome smiley. THE awesome smiley, but it fucking sucked.
I finished my super serious business emblem

Shit, just fixed the globe being off center
I don't mean to sound so helpless and clueless, but how exactly do you make the FP logo as your emblem? The tutorial is kinda confusing me.

What part about it is confusing? Have you tried just putting each component where it says it should go?
At times I can't see which is which. The rotation bit.
I like how they want to ban swastikas but have a pre-made Hammer and Sickle emblem.
So you aren't allowed to use a symbol that has stood for peace and good luck in multiple cultures for hundreds of years, but the developers seemingly support the use of the symbol of a reign of human rights abuses extending through most of the 20th century. Genocide on a scale far grander than any Nazi could even imagine. Gulags, secret police, harsh crack down on any rebellion in the name of freedom from a tyrannical and corrupt system. 75 years of this and the hammer and sickle is still revered, while 10 years on the Nazi flag means the swastika isn't allowed to be used in a video game.
Fuck Nazis, but fuck hypocrisy too.
Hey guy's just going through the single player campaign, and I've come across a issue on one of the levels. Im currently up to the level revelations, right after Hudson punches you in the face and points a gun at you, he suddenly pops a pair of sunglasses and an ak then back to pointing the gun at me, then the game just freezes and Hudson just stared at me, weird, but i cant get to the next.
Tho the music and sand is still going, plus I can still quit the game as normal. Any thoughts?

I guess you should start by putting each part in about the right place, then you can play with the rotation and scale until it works.
At the main menu, go to Select Mission and start Revelations from there?
Seems obvious but that's all I got, sounds like an engine bug that would have to be client-side fixed.

Thanks! I'll try again later.

I had it, and retried the mission five times. Nothing helped, I ended up just skipping to the last mission and watching the rest of Revelations. :v:

Well said. Really it's a fine line between what's offensive and what's not, so they really should just keep out of it all together. You're buying a mature rated game so you should have the self control to not be offended by something as simple a player's emblem.

No. Im sorry but the Nazi Swastika is different to the Hindu and Buddhist Swastika. If people really want their emblem to represent peace and good luck, then they shouldn't give it a white circle and a red background. They are simply trying to use a horrible excuse to use a symbol that is deeply offensive to anyone with any relation to The Holocaust.
Honestly, people do need to be sensitive of others, whether this is the internet or not.
Oh yeah. Just saying that:
Not saying that any should be censored in any shape or form. History is meant to be learned from so to recognize and prevent historical faults.
Thought it was important to highlight this again.
I must stress that I wouldn't be so upset about this if it weren't for the fact that they included it in the game as a pre-made emblem to stick anywhere. The problem I have is the black-and-white approach to it. I realize that the USSR didn't make genocide their main objective, but it certainly helped in its formative years. Like I said, fuck Nazis. Ban them if they are flying the Nazi flag as an emblem, have a racist tag, and spew Aryan garbage ingame, but don't make it a policy to ban people using the swastika with the reason of, and I quote, "The number of people offended by the representation of genocide far outweighs the few who see an innocent symbol". Purely subjective thought.

I already replied about this but you got your post in after I was making mine. Look, the fact is we won't know who they are banning anyway (unless of course you know the person). By all rights they probably will only ban people with obvious Nazi-associated swastika designs. While this isn't exactly favorable, they are Nazi douchebags so they shouldn't be on my game anyway.

Bought Black Ops this monday and completed the single player on hardened in 8 hours my first time through, also played 1.6 hours of mp and got to level 8 and got 69 kills.
My main issue with this game is that people don't seem to be called a bunch of f*#%ing noob-tubers.

The difference between the Swastika & Hammer + Sickle is the Swastika will forever be associated with Nazism since Hitler and the Nazi party misused it, that factor will never be redeemable, and barring very few situations where it obviously means the original intent via religious values, it is pretty much looked down upon in the greater Western & European world. It's actually against jurisdiction laws in many parts of the Western world to display the symbol anywhere, and is completely illegal in Germany if the symbol is associated with Nazism in any way to be displayed. The symbol is completely offensive when used in any way to most of a country (Germany) and people (Jews) pretty much, and pretty offensive to anyone who isn't a reject otherwise, and you are being very optimistic if you think any of the people they ban (from using the Emblem Editor temporarily, oh no!!!!) is using it in the right way.
The Hammer and the Sickle, while yes, easily associated with the Soviet Union, is a common symbol that is related to Communism as a whole - Communism by itself is not technically a bad thing, it's just once you add the human element (aka dictators), it kinda gets ruined completely. The symbol is banned in a couple of countries, not because it is offensive but because of what it represents, and only countries that formerly belonged to the Soviet Union. Even then, people have got out of the legal ramifications of displaying the symbol a few times because the laws were considered too broad. It's not nearly as looked down upon because most of the world doesn't see it as a symbol of hatred, they see it as a symbol of Communism, which again, is not necessarily a bad thing, Communism theoretically works great, but the right (non-corrupt) leader hasn't been behind it yet.
The swastika is barely used in anything unless it's obviously religious + peace oriented anywhere in modern times because it's considered evil, the Hammer and sickle is not only used on flags, but it's used on airlines, party symbols, buildings, etc, across the world. It is nowhere near close to representing the evil Hitler committed, because it does not represent the Soviet Union.
e: For the record I do think it is dumb if they ban someone using the symbol in an obviously peace oriented way, but the fact is is that this is the CoD community and I'm sure that's a whole 2 people while everyone else is using it in the Nazism way.
While we're talking about the swastika/not swastika topic. This is the Finnish Air force emblem
