I've been on a roll lately. One game I went 40 - 1, then the next I went 34 - 4. I love having Chopper Gunner and Gunship. Two kills away each. Get those kills, then launch an AIR ASSAULT. All HCTDM
Do any of you think that they will have a DLC with more weapons?
Doubtful
That's weird, after the latest patch, Black Ops now starts with low priority under processes. It used to start up with normal. This might explain why some people are having more problems, so I thought I'd point it out. [editline]20th November 2010[/editline] Scratch that, even after turning steams priority to low and Black Ops priority back up to high I'm still stuttering worse than before the patch.
Do any of you think that they will have a DLC with more weapons?
No,don't think so. 3-5 maps with a zombie map probably.
Do any of you think that they will have a DLC with more weapons?
I think the better question is, will the DLC be free for PC users?
Do any of you think that they will have a DLC with more weapons?
It is a good idea. They could add the KS-23 and some other experiment weapons in way of the G11, such as the XM8, etc.
Played on a server with Hardcore Nuketown only, admin got butthurt for some reason and started kicking everyone. I got 3 kills with my semtex ... 2 seconds later kicked. Epic.
Me celebrating reaching level 50. With 1 mag and 4 men in the crossfire.
How was that not a multi kill
Is there a point to the ballistics knife in zombies? Does knifing with it kill in one hit? Because... without that it seems pointless.

OK MASSIVE ENDING SPOILERS AHEAD Is the ending implying that [sp]you go on to kill Kennedy in Texas?[/sp]
Is there a point to the ballistics knife in zombies? Does knifing with it kill in one hit? You can also pack a punch it to turn it into a defibilator that will instantly revive downed friends. Got pretty far with that method. Ballistic knife is also 3x faster than regular knifing and has commando range so it' s awesome.
Oh dear god look how smooth and stutter free that looks. If I had ran my capture card it would have ran at 60fps and been better quality. Just didn't have the time, plus this feature is really handy.

Ok, I bought the game last night and have yet to open it. By last night I mean Friday night. I need more opinions on the game before I decided to go ahead with it.
Is there a point to the ballistics knife in zombies? Does knifing with it kill in one hit? Because... without that it seems pointless.

It is available through the Mystery Box. The player is able to pick up knives after being stuck into zombies. although the ballistic knife has a much higher stabbing strength in zombies, It isn't a favorable weapon, due to its low ammo count, low rate of fire, and low damage. When Pack-a-punched it turns to The Krause Refibrillatror and will revive a player instantly if hit by the blade.
Interesting...
After the today's patch I ACTUALLY WENT THROUGH SINGLEPLAYER. With some lags which were stutters, but my FPS was pretty normal, around 25. Playable for me. Anyway, in comparison to storylines of other CoD's, and storylines of other games in general, this was fucking beast. Treyarch did even better job than IW on MW2. 10 out of 10 for Storyline. And uh, optimisation 2 out of 10.
YES! I just got an update with zombie matchmaking improvements! Oh and CPU improvements too but who gives a shit about those right Here's the full update in case you haven't seen it yet: [img_thumb]http://gyazo.com/1c89eb2fb73884e516596fb79acdc9b9.png[/img_thumb]
Can people now play zombie mode online? I can't try it because my processor died....
This game is even more unplayable
Finally got Hacker Pro but haven't put it to much use. Similarly to Second Chance, it is a perk that is largely useless except for "that one time" every now and then. Getting to an enemy carepackage that is decently placed is nigh-impossible, and the way equipment works makes it just a waste of time to hack. I have only successfully hacked one thing, a claymore.
The update is completely awesome. The thing now runs much smoother. I had 53/20 on HCDEM on nuketown. Nuketown + chopper gunner :frog:
Just a quick test. How many of you guys with integrated sound cards are having problems? (rate tool) How many of you guys with seperate sound cards are having problems? (rate optimistic)
This game is even more unplayable
Basically this.
Just a quick test. How many of you guys with integrated sound cards are having problems? (rate tool) How many of you guys with seperate sound cards are having problems? (rate optimistic)
I have actually spotted kinda precisely my own problem. I don't know if this is what applies for others, but it's the only stuttering problem I have. The game stutters when a sound is played on map for the first time. I am 100% sure it's the only source of stuttering for me, while it's almost certain. When I shoot for first time, it stutters. When i get shot at and hear the bullets buzzing, it stutters. I hear a grenade falling, stutters, exploding; stutters again. This always only happens a single time for each sound clip. Due to this, about like 2 minutes of the map I get stuttering, which is more and more rare as all the sounds are heard over time. My hypothesis is, that for some reason, the game doesn't load the soundfiles in advance, or has to somehow reindex them or something. Once the sound is played, it gets loaded/buffered/whatever right, and doesn't cause any problems anymore. Once map ends and new one loads, it starts anew. I have integrated sound card, but I don't think this is of any significance, because due to Wine, it's only emulation of it, anyway. By the way, I have spotted no difference in behavior of this problem after the patch. It was exactly the same before and after. I still got hefty pure framerate boost, tho.
I don't fucking believe it. My stutters are worse on some maps. :suicide: [editline]20th November 2010[/editline] What if I have both?
uh, try disabling your integrated and see if the game works better [editline]20th November 2010[/editline]
I have actually spotted kinda precisely my own problem. What got me thinking it might be integrated is due to my friends playing it with seperate can run it fine. Also I've read somewhere that Blops uses .wav files you can't open in any media player?
I can't even play the fucking game anymore. It stutters every 5 seconds. :sigh:
