You make no sense. Silent Hill Shattered Memories and Silent Hill Origins didn't "start" the series literally or even metaphorically.

i said that silent hill was the one that started the great series of it.
and the best horror genre found.

In case you guys didn't know, Silent Hill has a running pattern and Team Silent has acknowledged that this is indeed part of their marketing strategy. Every odd-numbered game they make (not in the series, just every other game they produce) is part of the Alessa saga (AKA the original plot, seen in 1, 3, Origins, and Shattered Memories), and every even numbered game is unrelated (IE 2, 4, Homecoming, and now Downpour). It's really an interesting thing once you figure it out.

I must be unlucky but most of the time's I've played silent hill I got the UFO Ending..The only one I didn't get was the 3rd one...I got the bad ending for that..and the other silent hill games that didn't mention a Joke ending.

It doesn't really matter, it's just the way the plot has worked all along and I figured I'd point it out. After this you can expect a continuation of the original storyline (if there's another one after this). If this one is popular, they're definitely going to make another one, that's how Silent Hill games have always worked. The running theme should only work until the next game in the series anyway because there isn't really much more they can do with the first storyline. I personally am eager to see what direction they take it in.
