Age of Empires series thread - Games

Anyone wanna get a game going over Hamachi? I have no idea on how to set it up and stuff if anyone else wants to give it a whirl :/

I'd take you up on that but I switched to Tunngle.

1. Age of Empires, hands down. 2. Age of Empires 3, not bad, played as the dutch and Japanese 3. Age of Mythology, played some games, looked like AoE2 until i played online and unleashed my titan. I was screaming shit that i loved this game. 4. Age of Empires 2, Could just not get into it

I own AoE 2, but I only managed to get the online to work a week before they took the official service down. How can I play against people now? Are there even people playing? Playing on your own is a bit boring.

AOE 1 and 2 were the best. 3 was shit.

I've set up Hamachi properly and tested a game with a freind, I'll be able to set up a game if someone wants one.

Are the expansions to 3 any good?

to this day I remember the time I brought down my first elephant with 5 villagers in AOE. I also still remember being awed by how realistic the trees looked in AOE2 at the time it was first released.

AOE2 is still my favorite. I still have my CD case with no cds in it :saddowns:

Fully upgraded Champion rush was the only way to win. Alongside some priests to steal every unit they had. :iia:

I love Age of Empires, especially the second one. Best RTS ever... Though Age of Mythology is great too :v:
