OP: Update drivers, get latest patch, and then contact steam support. Best support in the world (yes they will help you with any game they sell).
I think the problem is that most game companies aren't willing to support the RC, because, to them, it is still in beta, and not enough of their users use it. It's not Windows 7's fault. It's the game company's fault. Stop blaming Microsoft and start blaming 2K instead.
People, let me remind you, this is not the RC. This is the final version. And the reason why there is a black space hottshot3312, is because I don't want you blokes seeing my product key.:buddy:
you completely ignored my post, well done
Not to mention my post, too.
That's because your one said it's the RC, which it isn't.
That's because your one said it's the RC, which it isn't.
Does it matter? The point is that game companies haven't released an update yet for Windows 7. It's not the OS's fault.
I tried no-cd, didn't work (not surprised). I sent out a steam ticket.

Small print. Maybe if your brain wasn't defective and you noticed the 'Windows is activated' right about the black spot, you wouldn't appear to be a mentally challenged four year old who pretends to know ANYTHING about computers. Kill yourself.
yeah i installed bioshock (via steam) and when i start it, it goes to a black screen where it therein ceases working.:iiam: I AM NOT USING THE RC THIS IS THE RTM FINAL SOME WORD IN LATIN FOR FINAL THE END
I was able to run the demo on my W7 (Build 7057, never bothered to update). Dunno what's wrong with your comp [editline]04:24PM[/editline]
because this is the steam version:am:
Steam isn't a Valve game or mod
Kiyasha Omin you should have just linked http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-ca/subscriptions/default.aspx Also, the RTM I downloaded about a week before it came out on msdn was perfect. SHA1 and crc were the same. So no botnet.
Windows 7 runs like river water. Bioshock is the ONLY program I can't get working. I can get TRESPASSER working for god's sake.
