I keep getting loads of 'THIS FILE IS CORRUPTED' errors when I install it, despite me downloading it twice from two separate websites.

thanks
Anyone know why it's not letting me start a new game?

do you have your oblivion patched to the latest version

I believe so, yes. I'll try it anyways.
EDIT: No cigar. Could it be that it didn't put a Nehrim folder in my Oblivion folder like i told it to? (when it asked)

Wait, I turned off UAC and now it works. Fucking microsoft.
Got it working. Amazing mod, currently [sp] escaping the fortress with Kim [/sp]

Disable all of your mods for Oblivion (Yes, even oblivion.esm) and start the Nehrim launcher. Check to see if all the data files for Nehrim are enabled, and start the mod.
Edit: Ah, was late.
Me and others agree, someone needs to patch in Fast Travel. I got right to the end of the East Pass heading to [sp] Waverock [/sp] when i got gangbanged by 9 different monsters. Last save was behind the Sanctum.
Amazing game. Great voice acting and it is a beautiful world. But as others say I miss fast travel.
How good is this mod?
Is this like Wizard Islands for Morrowind, where it was a rather badly designed but good looking expansion? Or is it truely as fun, interesting, and unique as it claims?
Do graphics mods work with it? Because standard oblivion textures look like ass and the NPC's doubly so
i'm thinking of stop playing this game until they finally release a patch that fixes the teleportation spells.

oh so they're bugged? explains why i cant fucking teleport
I can teleport fine. Do you have a Rune?

yes
and when i cast the spell nothing happens

Maybe you should save more often, running between places is quick enough already and teleports exist

I'm very impressed with this mod personally. The world and dungeons are much better looking than Oblivion, and the tons of awesome loot makes exploring really pay off. Only bad things are that it crashes every now and then, and melee combat hasn't really been improved.
I'm two hours into the game.
Why was I never asked to choose a class? I've been asked to choose a sign, but not class. Is something wrong?

because it's not as important in Nehrim as you level up differently
Wow the release trailer was incredibly epic, even if I couldn't understand the very talented German voice actors.
The thread had me downloading, the trailer has me crapping my pants in anticipation!
On that note though I do wish fantasy mods would stop using the same generic overused music in their trailers

I do get lag from time to time, i've yet to turn off some settings from the launcher, but yeah combat is a bit dull so there is room for improvement there, and some part of the game is not fully translated like some of the notes/books and signs. I however did not suffer a single crash, just lag.
Looky what I found.

From what I guessed from the inside, it has rooms that unlock for every 10 magic symbols. Word of advice: when you shoot the painting, do it from the corner of the room.
Ohh, this is made by the same guys who did the Cube Experimental mod for Fallout 3. Which, may I say, is fucking awesome.

The npc's look decent, he put an incredible amount of work into their faces.
Unlike oblivion they don't all look the same.
The textures are decent if you crank up AF to x16 somehow.
Damn nhancer not working with 260 drivers.
Just got to chapter two and holy shit.

Lost and Found section. Three intersections to the south, and make a right. Enjoy your stay.
