IGN released their list of best PC games. Apparently Fallout is worse than Crysis.

Some one said that IGN is like Fox news of gaming

Well that's just retarded, they give news and give reviews, fox merges them all into one biased pile of bullshit. And the list wasn't that bad, each one of those games was revolutionary in its own right.
I for one loved crysis, especially the ginourmous mod community.
yeah they can
when you say "The sun is gone" that's completely wrong
You're missing the point.
You're missing the point.
That's also an opinion too, and it's completely wrong as well. There's no point, there's intelligent opinions, and there is dumb opinions, and a sub-set of dumb opinions contains wrong opinions.

Opinions such as: "The sun is obviously cold." can be wrong. But something like "Fallout is better than Crysis." can't be.
please tell me KOTOR was on there somewhere
and planescape: torment
and red alert

Yes it can. You achieve it though logic. Now if you said "I think Fallout is better than Crysis", then you cannot be (technically) incorrect. Though it can be a stupid opinion.
The difference here is statement of fact and personal belief. Fallout is better than Crysis is a very different statement than I think Fallout is better than Crysis.

that's good guy be a pussy
That's different than saying "Crysis is worse than Fallout 3."
That's a statement, not an opinion.
Crysis is just a showcase for their game engine.
Nevertheless, a very good showcase for their engine. :eng101:
Why the fuck is Deus Ex up there? It did nothing revolutionary nor did it deliver polished gameplay... get the fuck out. I can think of quite a few better games. Thief was a much better game, Mass Effect was better, and hell, if you want to swap it out with other genres you could put Homeworld in its place.
Happy to see Rome: Total War, Half-Life, and Tie Fighter made the list, they deserve it. Kind of pissed off C&C and StarCraft made the list but Total Annihilation didn't (which was the superior game). Also, Crysis is bawls. It never even should have made the list.

What is wrong with you.
I know a lot of people here love Deus Ex, and I fucking love C&C.
But I agree with some of your points.
I don't know if anyone else has mentioned this throughout the 7-8 pages, but I have NEVER heard of X-Com. I seriously don't think it should be #1 from what I read in the description for it they gave. If that's what makes the top of the list, shouldn't starcraft be there? :/
Only old school PC gamers will remember X-Com. Now, I would have chosen something more like the Jagged Alliance series, but X-Com was pretty fucking awesome.
Noes mah automerge.

I know it's a mod but the point is the engine has great potential.

Deus Ex sucks dick, I try to go run and shot my and my guns doesn't fucking hit the guy unless I stand for a million years. The gameplay was super confusing and had this stupid inventory system that should have been dropped. Just gimme some guns, put them all on the scroll wheel and lemme raise hell. Then Deus Ex would be a good game.

I do hope you're trolling. Please tell me you're trolling.

No, Deus Ex actually sucks, it's a fact.

Depends on your point of view. If you only like FPS that turns around run, shoot, repeat, than you won't like Deus Ex.
Deux Ex was incredible ahead of its time - There is so much way to deal with an enemy in Deus Ex. You could snipe him with a Sniper rifle - Shoot him down with a pistol in the head - Cut him down with a sword - throw a grenade at him - Use the mini-crossbow to make him sleep - Use the stun rod to stun him. Even the mission could be cleverly done without any people dying - it was hard, but possible. Vents? Get in them and surprise the enemy with a gas grenade. Roof? Jump on enemy heads and shoot them where they are the most vulnerable. There is so much way in Deux Ex to end a mission you can play the game multiple time without any problems.
And anyway, you are very close-minded if you want every FPS to relay on 'Run shoot repeat'. Where's the innovation in a game where you have to do the same as in the first doom games?

Rabble rabble, I'm not close-minded and I like my run shoot repeat games. Deus Ex doesn't deserve to be on the list because there are 1000x better games.

None of these things make it stand out from every run shoot repeat FPS that's just killing something with a different weapon.
Crysis is 17 and Bioshock isn't even on the list. Okay...

What's so good about Bioshock?

Nether game deserves to be on the list.
Ign is a big shithole anyways, they don't know what the fuck they're talking about and get paid to lie about ratings and shit. Crysis shouldn't of made the list, nor should shitty starcraft / WoW, and I mean seriously, what the hell is that game they classed as #1? Looks stupid and generic to me. Why hl2 or even tf2 wasn't on there, prooves that ign is a big bunch of cocksuckers.

I agree with this man
Starcraft still a good game though it just shouldn't be on the list

I hope you're fucking kidding.
World of Warcraft deserves to be on that list. They listed the original WoW, not the expansions that killed fun more than it killed time.
