I don't understand why these gaming magainzes and sites have all suddenly got a raging hard on for X-COM. I think PC Gamer did a throwback article on it and now it's the everlasting champion of PC games?
As for the WoW thing, I loved the game. It was fucking amazing, but it can get repetitive. The only thing I'm worried about now is if it starts actually going downhill after the Arthas raid. If they announce another expansion, then alright it's back on it's feet and ready for 2 more years of awesome. If however Blizzard has moved most of their main WoW developers over to this new MMO they're doing and leaving the interns to take care of WoW then it's fucked. You'll see stupid game changes and small usually meaningless updates.
So hope for an expansion announcement at Blizzcon.

They're not paid to lie nub, Crysis is a world class game and should have been #1. HL2 was a stupid and generic game, anybody who likes it is a cocksucker

Fallout 1 & 2 are boring games, with Fallout 3 being mildly entertaining because it's an FPS

Crysis was okay. The 0 gravity levels were annoying. Its storyline is shit.

The Zero Gravity levels were best played while high.

I really don't care what they have to say until they start writing their articles properly. Almost every section contains a grammatical error of some sort.
Also, everyone in this thread who is bashing Crysis has probably never played it. They think that the only thing the game has going for it is the graphics, when actually that has very little to do with the game itself. I first played it on a terrible PC which could only run it at low/med settings, and I loved every minute of it. Crysis deserves its spot on any top 25 list because it truly is one of the most fun FPS I've ever played. The story may be garbage, but who cares; if you're playing an FPS for the story, you're doing it wrong. What really matters here is the gameplay, and Crysis does it right on all accounts.
It's really a very, very good game, and 90% of people are just butthurt because they either cannot play it or simply have not due to preconceived notions of quality based on information from other idiots, so their opinion isn't valid anyway.

No, a good FPS has good graphics, great storyline, and fun gameplay. Half life 2 had all of these, which is why it's better then crysis. Stating that "you're doing it wrong" if you're playing an FPS for the story is just faggoty bullshit.
