Right I do not get this, it says I have 0 points in my account with +100 bonus points but when I try to get something for 100 points it says I have no points to buy with as a restriction can anyone help?

The 1 euro fee is to buy trades, when you signup you receive 1 trade and 100 points, after your first purchase you will have 0 points and 0 trades. If you have 500 points and 0 trades you can't buy anything, you need trades to buy, and 1 trade cost only 1 euro :), which I'm perfectly fine with ;).
Not only the free game but I could use this to trade some of my old rare PS2 games like Airblade.
You can be at nunber 6 and still be the first receiving the game, specially when its games of more than 100 pts. The persons ahead of you probably don't have free slots to receive the game or the necessary points

There are many games for 100 pts, anyways, you can either sell some of your games or buy points from Goozex.
