You have to wait for the requester to confirm it's arrived, it's more likely an offerer would lie to get free points without sending the game.
It's one of the reasons it recommends using tracking so they know when it's likely to arrive and if you've sent it and you know if they should have it. I forgot to ask for tracking on mine, but I trust the guy.
I've already got plans for what to spend my next points on.

You mean you're offering King Kong and requesting Assassin's Creed, because you don't directly trade a game for another game because that would complicate the values of different games. If you didn't get the 100 free points as you should have, then you'll have to wait for somebody to request King Kong, send it, wait for them to receive and confirm it and then request Assassin's Creed using the points you earnt. The flaw in your plan is that while offering King Kong would earn you 100 points, Assassin's creed is worth 450 points so you would either have to trade away several lower value games to make up the 450 points required, or pay Goozex for the other 350, so unless you have several games you're willing to offer and trade quickly, it would be quicker and probably cheaper just to buy the game.
With a fair few games you get a good deal but with others it's best just to buy it normally.
(100 points is roughly £4.50 by the way)
