43,000~ in an ME163, after having watched SqueegyMackoy's attempt on YouTube.

31,000 meters in a b25-j. I wasn't attempting to though, I was clicmbing to get away from some fighters and I was shot and killed, but my plane kept going.

Are there any missions for practicing ground attacks? One which just sets me flying above ground units so I don't have to spend 5 minutes just flying to my target. Also, it always seems when I play a quick mission, by the time it takes me to get to the target, my AI teammates have already completed the objective for me.

The Ai planes only usually cruise at 80-90% throttle so, usually easy to beat them to wherever you're supposed to go.

Anyone remember when We flew to the edge of that island map?

Holy shit i love that game, I try playing it as much as i can with friends, I really like the Zero due to the fact it can turn at speeds below 180 km/h without any problems at all, it's formidable in a dogfight.

Much faster than the average P-40 in the game and much better handling. If you want play with me or against me add me on steam "RobinHubner". Without quotes but i believe you understand that. Playing against or with other people is incredibly fun.

Playing against or with other people is incredibly fun.[/QUOTE] The P-38 is a damned drag racer compared to the Zero, and I'd bet the F4 can outrun it too.

The P-38 wasn't produced in the same scale as the P-40 and was rarely used to counter the Zero at all but i bet you are probably right, In most dogfights it's more about handling and climbrate more than speed. Unless you make it a speed fight.

Unless you make it a speed fight.[/QUOTE] I'm just saying the Zero isn't all that quick compared to several of the full range of aircraft in the game, since in Sturmovik it's quite possible the two will meet and fight, even if it was uncommon in real life because one's more a long-range fighter/bomber. I'm not a major air-war buff, though, so I wouldn't really know too much beyond that.

Yeah i know what you mean, The P-38 is incredibly fast. We should have a dogfight or something later.

Hey could some one tell me a good joy stick for this game in the range of 30-60$? Im using a logitech attack 3 and its almost as bad as using the keyboard.

If you ever find a Saitek Cyborg Graphite, they suck as well, and I've never used anything else. For aound $1000 you can get the Saitek Pro Flight yoke, 3-lever quadrant, and the pro flight rudder pedals.
