Whether you figure out the directX problem or not, give OpenGL a try, runs better in my opinion.
I say we do the password thing and we only give passwords to people that get on ventrillo.

Just installed and tested AAA mod. I thought it just added new planes, but it actually changed sounds too, the weapons sound much better now. And I noticed that when my B29's fuel tank got set on fire, the effect looked better aswell.
