I love the Bf-109 plane that has the two cockpits or whatever it's called. I was pretty good at it.

If you've got a joystick you don't have to worry about sucking. If you do, then consider buying a joystick first.

Haha, we put 2 planes on the wings of the TBM's then started a dogfight. Then I stalled out and fell down on my wing and we all exploded.
I've got an ancient Sidewinder stick that I got just for Mechwarrior 4 back then. Anybody here still use it for IL-2?
And I also have a PS3 controller. Don't know how it'll work for flight sims.

yes, though for some reason i can't bind weapons to the triggers, I had to use the bumpers.
I had an awesome game last night on AAA. I was flying the superfortress and two fighters gave me an escort. They both trailed off to shoot down others over the enemy airbase and one ended up getting hit by my bomb as it struck the taxiway.
Also, I found out what HighGore = 1 does.

I just got done playing for about 40 mins. I've been running in windowed 640x480 making it hard to see. but i'm going to go full screen 1680x1050 when I get back.
Found a great example. Both pilot and gunner killed, this is with Highgore set to 1.

In coop missions you can.
I was on AAA server but I couldn't figure out how to take off on the airfield closest to the action. When I tried to take off on it my plane wouldn't move but if I went to the far airfield it took off fine. Any one know why?
