Are you sure you have patch 4.08 installed? After this install AAA and switch to 4.08. It should work good. I believe you didn't tried to install mods without installing AAA? I use basically only AI bombers, or boats. Or when I just want to go to public server and use AI planes. Then everyone is like OH SHTI HE HAZ AI PLANES OMG HOW U DID DAT?! GIV US LIENK! NAO!!

I can't even open up IL2.

Umm, alt + space? Bomb bay does not work for most of the AI planes. I am using bombing button just like I bomb with other planes, like IL 2, Ju 87.

You do not need to open bomb bay doors. If you NEED then go to controls and search for Engine Power 20%. It has been replaced with opening/closig bomb bay's. You was supposed to install it in IL 2 1946 folder. Lol.

Guys guys guys, should I buy a new joystick? I've noticed that whenever I try to fly straight behind someone to hit them I always shake. Is it my joystick or just me who sucks?

Ok, I thought so. Any advantages I would have getting a new joystick? This joystick is like 10 years old.

Also, is force feedback usefull?
