Patching.
Is TicTac's server a 24/7 one yet?
I use my rear gunners a lot, because I don't have a joystick yet. I also prefer to fly large planes, they handle a lot better for me.
Not as jerky, am I right?
Is TicTac's server a 24/7 one yet?
Basically is, I find that it tends to be empty with no people on at my timezone, which means that it's probably 24/7. Thanks for the awesome server, tictac.
Could somebody list the patches and best lobby program for me?
Lobby program - Hyperlobby. Patch"es" - 4.08m, only one you need.
Yeah, I was astonished to find so many people on IL2!
Speaking of that, I could probably make it tomorrow What do you guys want. (No terrain transformations)
iwo jima with carriers on both ends of the island. Possibly indestructible. I think ships to fuck with would also be pretty neat.
Get on the server everyone. :D
I can't wait until I get my new rig and TrackIr. TrackIr makes it so much easier to play on cockpit locked servers and my new rig will ensure I get playable FPS when more than 1 person crashes into the floor and leaves a flaming wreck. Jesus I cream myself when I think of all the epic shit I'm going to be able to do with 6DoF and shit. I also love this video because the music matches the FW-190 so well and he's using TrackIr.
I've got Freetrack, 6dof is overrated, it seems like a chore almost to have to constantly realign your head to keep your head looking at the sight. I only use Pitch/Yaw/Zoom for IL-2, 6dof is useful for clickable cockpit sims like DCS:Black Shark though. Also I'm playing now, get on vent. :V
I find this game frustrating, I can never hit someone yet they always hit me.
Fly bombers. You will get kills.
Which server is everyone playing on?
This game looks awesome, where can I get it? (Besides Steam)
I saw this thread and thought I'd get my old joystick out (Saitek 3-D Rumble Force I think) and find one of my dads old plane games. Turns out the game is this game, I had no idea :)
where is all of the battleships and the harbor? i want to crash my jap plane in to some fucking warships i want my $15 back
Yeah, whoever is making the FP map needs to add ships too, and mixed mid-air and airfield spawns.
Damn it, flew for twenty minutes only to discover (too late) that my landing gear was damaged in the battle. Result: A not too entertaining smoldering crater in the runway.
Lol fewes :D
where is all of the battleships and the harbor? i want to crash my jap plane in to some fucking warships i want my $15 back
Play a mission with a harbour nearby?
Had a great time on my own in the server playing with bombers and landing them in first person mode :P bombed a bridge too :D
where is all of the battleships and the harbor? i want to crash my jap plane in to some fucking warships i want my $15 back
there's a pearl harbor mission
I find this game frustrating, I can never hit someone yet they always hit me.
Hehe, I played tons of quick flight single player missions so if you're unfortunate enough to get infront of me you'll feel the pain. But if anything gets behind me I'm fucked.

I love the 6dof, makes it a lot easier landing and taking off mostly with the bi planes that have restricted visibility due to wings.
Do you zoom by moving closer and further away from the sensor or do you have it bound to a button or something?
You can do both
eh, is the server up. i can't connect.
