Oh yes it's good. I stopped after shooting down all the enemies in my mission and took notice of just how amazingly good the game looks. [img]http://i457.photobucket.com/albums/qq291/RR_Raptor65/DeathSquad109_1.jpg[/img]

I love WWII planes, I don't know why. I just like them more than modern planes. The P-51 Mustang is probably my favorite.

So i just ordered a joystick

I've been a fan of this game since the original came out. I just got 1946 last night, can't wait to join you guys.

I got it on Saturday(bought a joystick the very same day). At first I had problems getting the joystick to work with the game, but then I found out that I had a controller plugged in and the problem was fixed by unplugging it. There's going to be a new expansion covering the war over Britain, right? I was quite disappointed to find out that it was missing in 1946. It IS missing, right?

The Britain one is completely new game. Although, I will stay with good old 1946 :D

So, is there any FP servers up? I know TicTac is apparently having computer problems, but I was thinking someone else would host or something.

Can anyone tell me how to drop B-29 bombs. I can drop bombs on other bombers, but it won't work on the B-29, can anyone tell me?

Just saying now. To anyone that thinks their epic because they can take on the AI on veteran. The AI in IL2 is horrible. All their good at is shooting but besides that their really crap. Try go on an average server and you'll get your ass handed to you.

[b]Do not turn in a 190[/b] Come in fast and get a deflection shot on your enemy. If you turn with any enemy and you don't know exactly what you're doing you are going to die. AI aren't good shots though, they're horribly wasteful with ammo and they can't pull deflection shots at ALL.

I concur. The ai are good at shooting but they are horrible at ACM's and general combat.

So,will we gather up in another server untill tictac has a new HD ?

What's the best joystick for this game for under 50 dollars?

Turning away doesn't work anymore if the AI is on your six, unless of course your plane has better turning capabilities.

Anybody want to get on the server?

If the AI gets on my 6 and for example I'm in a 109F-4 or G-6 and I'm against a SpitVb (maybe a SpitIXc but it's a longshot) I'll just enter a rolling scissor and get a snapshot on him which usually kills him.

Can anyone PLEASE tell me ho to drop bombs carried by the B-29? I have weapon 4 mapped, but bombs won't drop, can anyone help?
