That looks very delicious.
Okay, it still doesn't work.. it's pissing me off.
Thank you branz for the gift!!! Now to wait for it to download.
Does this have voice comm. in it?
No it doesn't. We use Ventrilo.
No it doesn't. We use Ventrilo.
I could have sworn I heard someone using voice comm online...Oh well.
No it doesn't. We use Ventrilo.
Actually it does, in the AAA server some people can be heard talking. I've never tried to talk back. Gonna try that sometime.
-snip-
Nevermind. Was my fault.
It depends on the plane, you have to either trim or get over it.
I got a problem, my plane tries to turn left or bank left all the time. I use a Logitech Extreme 3D pro joystick.
Flutter effect, I think it's because of the propeller is "throwing" you off course, it happens in real life aswell.
(unless your like spinning left)

This.
Just imagine an electric drill, when you set it to full speed and pull the trigger, you can feel the force turning the drill itself to the left.
That's why I prefer planes with counter rotating blades or jet engines. With the exception of the J2M, which can reach 10, 000 metres in under 10 minutes.
Also, the Me-410 has a bitch of a flutter effect.
How did this get knocked down to page 2?
Anyways, I am like.. dying to play IL-2.
It's been knocked down to page two because your server isn't up.
obviously, that's the only logic excuse.
Thread is grinding to a halt. :(
What the fuck? Page 2 again.

Set mixture to rich, or something, and adjust the prop pitch to something useful! Be ready to adjust supercharger stage, we have to climb!

I've found setting flaps to take off in large bombers at speed will give a great and fast altitude boost, at the sacrifice of speed. Raise, speed up, repeat.
I've noticed that you cant fly wiht one wing, with the exception of the Storch.
I've noticed that you cant fly wiht one wing, with the exception of the Storch.
Durr.
Both wings are needed for balance(balanced wind resistance etc...) and more lift, smart one.
Im making a point, that the Storch is a peice of shit, Unless your looking to fly with one wing.
Im making a point, that the Storch is a peice of shit, Unless your looking to fly with one wing.
It's not a piece of shit, read the wikipedia article on it.
It was powered by a 180 kW (240 hp) inverted-vee Argus As 10C V8 engine, which gave the plane a top speed of only 175 km/h (109 mph), enabling the Storch to fly as slow as 50 km/h (32 mph), take off into a light wind in less than 45 m (150 ft), and land in 18 m (60 ft).
The storch was a great plane in real life for its intended purpose: RECON. READ: NOT FUCKING DOGFIGHTING.
Could someone explain prop pitch to me?
Could someone explain prop pitch to me?
Durr, i think it's the direction the prop is pointing ... don't take my word for it though.
Im making a point, that the Storch is a peice of shit, Unless your looking to fly with one wing.
What? The storch is absolutely awesome! Can take of nearly anywhere and land again.
I found out the Me-410 storch takes of easily from carriers, even with bomb load!
Could someone explain prop pitch to me?
Prop pitch pitches the blades much like collective pitch in a helicopter, think of it as gearing in a car. Lower pitch yields better acceleration and climb rate, higher prop pitch yields higher top speed and fuel economy. Experiment with the best settings for climbing/cruise, there's a certain threshold of high prop pitch in which the engine will bog down, so don't try to set the highest pitch thinking it will give you the most speed.
Oh and if you are wondering where everyone is, we still play IL-2 on this ventrillo server.
69.162.79.106:3784
Only show up if you have a mic, I don't want to see some faggots with a soundboard, otherwise I'll just ban you from there and any IL-2 servers that we play. Learn to take a joke, and expect to have elitist faggots shit on you, if you are gonna start raging about it then don't bother coming on. We don't have a dedicated server, we just end up hosting listen servers whenever we have enough players in the Ventrillo server. But yeah, join up and stay in the IL-2 channel, and remember that you must have a mic.
This game is hard, I crash all the time :'( And my plane tries to go up all the time so I have to correct it every second or so!
