Hearing 220 planes alone made me raise a brow but seeing how realistically the planes break and seeing the biplane as a usable plane I am definately going to get the Ubisoft classic pack. Along with Far Cry 2. This will be a fun Spring break.

Can anyone here mod IL2? I need someone who can take a new engine and prop and import it to the FW-190A3, or atleast take a .3DS file and make it an .SMD, then I can do it from there. It's for my 190TL.

I made the model for the mod, it won't import because of how I got the original engine section. Those are the AAA forums.
Now I have to remember:
NEVER USE .OBJ FILES FOR ANYTHING.

The only problem with IL2, is that when something goes wrong, you can't just delete a file usually, you usually have to reinstall, which gets annoying after the 7th time.
Decided to pick it up again, I'm still shit at dogfights :D
though i managed to shoot the wing off of an IL-2 mid dogfight.
It's fun to have a bomb delay of 10 seconds and drop it on a runway when a plane is landing.

i'm horrible at judging how far to shoot infront of someone so i usually just follow people around till i run out of ammo or get blown to hell.

When did I say I was a highschooler? Or did you assume that? I'm in 7th grade, and take several classes at U of A, or University of Arizona. If you dont believe that, Halo228 is 12 and takes almost all the same classes at ITT Tech. Never said I was a highschooler, though, if you got that off of my bio, my sister put that after I joined, never bothered to change it.

OK, another problem. IL-2 refuses, simply refuses to switch to DX rendering. I select DirectX in the video mode menu, hit apply, and when it comes back it's back in openGL. What the shit?
