Needs a space grappling hook imo.
Kinda like that thing that Samus has.

I was thinking of something like that too, but we seriously need a coder.
Not sure if this was answered already but is there a link for that cop model?
Looking good.

oh shit does that gun have a screen!
Janus , darken the edges. The bit of the scope coming over the screen must have some form of shadow.
You obviously don't know how a screen works.

Really?
I think I might've worded my reply wrong.
Everything casts a shadow , so there has got to be some sort of shadow on that screen. Of course , in certain areas there won't be , eg. A pitch black room or a dimly lit room.
But games aren't realistic , and it makes the scope "scopier".
Well either you could overlay the AO map over it to make that "shadow" effect or just add a selfillum mask so that the screen actually looks like it's emitting light.
Though you probably already know this.
Unlitgeneric doesn't play nice with additive textures.
On other news, I haven't had this much fun in ages

it's a really bright screen.
we need a mission where you're in a spaceship and the window breaks and you're clinging on for dear life and you crawl in and shoot the fuck out of dudes in a burning, breaking spaceship
e.g sw ep 3
Give the screen some type of like, simple, small bordering, it looks odd just being that whole area, basically.

Ooh, stealthy....

oh ok.
Ever considered making a really big gun firing a very small projectile?
Ooh, stealthy....
sorry i didn't realise stealth was the object of a VERY LOUD GUN

Well, maybe I LIKE sneaking around with a rocket launcher.
Only just found this, pretty damn impressive if I say so myself.
You guys doing any puzzle related areas or using any form of physgun?
we don't even know what the first level will be like.
[editline]08:15PM[/editline]
and we absolutely certainly definitely won't have a physgun
[editline]08:15PM[/editline]
but we will have something that does this:

i approve
You're having way too much fun with that :P Also the bullet decal looks off for the projectile. The hole is the same for every shot, even ones that come in from extreme angles. Not sure what to suggest here... No decal... or just a tiny hole, I'm not sure.
I've come up with another weapon idea :
A crossbow which sticks people to the walls!
As seen in the pictures above , so I take full credit for whatever that weapon is.
Epic picture.
A huge shark is a small projectile?
