That picture reminds me of Dead Space... Ooh, and are you going to include alien monsters, Ratchet and Clank style?
well it's kind of offensive to call them monsters, but there will be non-human sentients.
you know what this needs? fire. some sort of device that sets your enemies ablaze. not too overpowered mind you, but powerful enough to hurt when you're in a pinch.

I've been doing a few scripting tests designed for "Normal" difficulty setting, It's difficult to get a decent mix of combat without it being complete rape.
