Pulsed Laser Sub-Machine Gun
Imo, the weapon selection should have some radial element, like the text is following a circle or so.
I just really want to see how the new models for the SMG and the AR2 are going to look.

yeah, I got an idea. gonna make a mockup on sunday.
You should make the hud hrmm, how to say it..dynamic. Like, each line of text sway and bobble individually when you move your cursor. Obviously a picture wouldn't show that, but I assume that right now the hud is pretty static.
If that made any sense :(
Would be lovely if the weapons would produce an advertisements during periods of lack of use, promoting their other products (like ammo, upgrades, and health kits). Don't forget the remarks like "And if we had disrupted your stealth mission with a lethal consequences, you will be given a free gift of your choice".

Holy shit, this sounds genius.
This mod is awesome. 2 things
1, Mooks helmet light should change color based on mood. Blue for relaxed, Red for combat
2, There should be a pilotable space ship in game

Gah, you people treat me like I havent read the thread! I saw that, I'm just saying, i'm excited for you guys to incorperate them ingame with the blue hands and all their glory.
Oh and by the way, is the baseball bat going to change?
None of the weapons are in their final form yet.
You guys should consider making the hud an overlay that can be activated by pressing a button so that all the text from a bunch of NPC's doesn't constantly clutter the screen. Perhaps using the overlay creates a particular color aura around friendlies, enemies, important npc's, etc... Just throwing out some ideas

The NPC flag only shows up when you hover the reticle over an NPC.

After seeing the first video, what caught my eye is that you are still using the fugly glass textures from original HL2. Well, not fugly, but it feels overly detailed to a point where it is restrictive.
Those bullet impact effects look familiar.

The only problem I see, after having watched the video, is that the player can simply walk through the half-open zipper doors, thus not seeing the awesome animation at all, and it kinda feels like he's walking through it like some ghost or such...

Seems like you're having some pretty nasty lighting problems in there. Seems very patchy. Also lacking light-sources by the look of things, though no-doubt that's to be remedied soon.
