Well when I was using an aimbot in CS:S, I did get VAC banned, seeing as Valve still cares about it. Granted, I was using a public hack. Thankfully it was on an alt account that only had CS:S on it. As for the transparent walls and colored player models, those are skins and therefore are undetectable by default. The VAC detection database for Goldsrc games like CS 1.6 and CS:CZ hasn't updated in years, so it's pretty safe to hack in there. If you want to know the truth about VAC, it's not very effective in getting rid of cheaters. How most hacks get detected is if someone uploads the binary of the hack to Valve. However, hacks like EnhancedAim have you log in and connect to a server, which downloads a heavily encrypted binary, which is why it is undetectable.
