Is there a way to get all the skills? Is it from leveling the other skills or from just leveling? I got my fire skills early as Sram from using one of the skills a lot but i'm still unsure.
Yeah they unlock as you level spells in the same group. Support skills unlock every 2 levels i think.
Every class seems to be utter shit compared to Sram and Sacrier.
[editline]29th January 2012[/editline]
I started playing yesterday and I have a level 16 Sacrier, I still feel like I have no idea what I'm doing but it's so much fun.
Only 18 myself, since I've been occupied with some other things. I may not be hitting the hardest, but you can't deny doing a fair amount of damage to a large chunk of the enemies. ~12-15 damage a pop against groups of four or so? That feels pretty good for my level.
around that level i did around 15 a hit with my Sram of which i could do 2. So yeah that's pretty neat.
How do air sacriers work anyway? What's their speciality?
Battlefield control.
Skills, from start to finish.
Rejectattoo - push away, range of 1-2
Sacrier's Fist - pull you towards them, range of 3 (I believe)
Assault - swap places
Tattracting Fist - draw them towards you, range is 4 I think
Light Speed - Circle AoE, teleport, nimble buff (Wakfu point to use, but oh so great)
And if it isn't obvious, they all deal damage in the process.
Motion Sickness helps, dealing extra damage per tile crossed, though it's not passive. 1AP/1WP (level 9 being just 1 WP). The ability stays until they're moved against their will.
Transposition is a useful one, even without points it lets you swap places with an adjacent ally.
So, the open beta is having a wipe due to duplicators.
Like, right now?
Like, right now?
At launch, which is technically in a few days.
Ah. Well it's good I don't have too much time invested in my characters at the moment. I'll have to get my names reserved again though.

Same here. I stopped playing and because I wanted to wait for the full launch. At least with the wipe we can have a restart of the nations.. Brakmar wasn't on good terms it seems.
Wow I'm playing a Sram and I'm doing about 18 damage per turn with a double making it 36 for both turns. The backstabber passive builds up so fast letting me hit so hard, and both me and the clone can use that broken teleport thing guaranteeing my backstabs.
I started checking this game out yesterday, I really like it so far, especially the artstyle and the humor in it, it's enjoyable, it reminds me of the game Bastion.
Oh boy, RaptorRed~
Also, correction: game goes gold Feburary 29th.

I don't agree that the teleport thing is broken because Sram has no ranged attacks, but i find it a bit silly you get hemorage, backstab and stabber all stack to do bonus damage and then also have the double explode with20 to 40% of your hp as damage.

Yeah it's pretty silly but the stabber effect only stacks on the main body and not on the double, so I just stick my double on the side of enemies and tank the monsters with my main body and stack the backstab damage.

the double doesn't get stabber but it it does get any damage buffs you have when you summon it
permanently
so if you get +100% damage from stabber then summon a double it will permanently have +100% damage

In a few days? Isn't the game launching February 29th?
[editline]29th January 2012[/editline]
And then I click on page 5...

Yeah I noticed debuffs stick on the doubles forever, but never had the chance to try out doubles with buffs.
So i'm a fan of the wakfu cartoon. Is there any references to it in the mmo?
the mmo is essentially based on the cartoon
which is sad because originally the cartoon was based off the game
Wow it's like Ecks vs. Sever all over again. Game to movie to movie-based game. Also, Sram double with the 100% backstab damage increase is super cheap. I'm pretty sure it lasts all turns the clone is alive.

There are dofus and wakfu references but also recipes. Nothing worthwhile though..

You can go to Emelka, in Amakna, and you can find Yugo's dad's inn, still run down. He's outside defending it, and if you try going upstairs, your gemlin tells you not to cause you might wake the baby. So it looks like the game takes place before/at the very beginning of the series.
Alrighty they released the F2P and P2P differences...
Gayness, am stopping.
This game is basically Call of Grind: Tactical. Classes don't evolve once you unlock your main moves, the only viable classes are solo ones or ones that rock in a group, otherwise you will enjoy the slowest grind to date,... and the F2P will be limited to the sturb island or whatever it's name is, and you won't even sell whatever you will manage to craft with the noob mats...
Lame. Was fun while it lasted.
yeah I think i'm pretty much done until the next patch or release
game is fun but it gets old after a while

Wow, that sounds awfully shit.
Welp.
What benefits do you get for going premium? I'll probably stop playing when it's P2P but the show's enjoyable.
None, you just can't do anything as a freebie.
You can't use cash, so you can't affect the economy.
You can't affect ecosystems or participate in any PVP other than duels, so you can't gain CP and thus you can't vote or run for governor.
You can't learn any professions aside from the gathering ones, so you can't craft anything and you can't sell the ingredients so that's pointless too.
You CAN still join nations and guilds (can't form guilds) so that's something I guess. Not that you can do anything pertaining to these things.
Basically if you're on a free account you can look but not touch. Literally every single feature of the greater game itself is denied you, you can only fight things, use what you find or are given.

Wait, seriously?
Where did you find all this?
[editline]3rd February 2012[/editline]
What the fuck, he's right. I found them here.
What the hell. This is THE stupidest thing they've done so far. I want to blame it on Square-Enix, because I don't want to believe that Ankama would do something this retarded.
I'll probably play once they bring back Ecaflips, then be done with it once they release it with this shitty model.
Yeah, same, playing while it's free.
This is the only grind game that I was okay with, because I love the tacticool and the whole player economy thing. But no fucking way am payng to play on grindistan while there is Wurm Online which, while shittier, isn't as limiting for froobies.
