The Thumper is not OP. It is balanced because it costs 100,000 xp or 780 gold. If it was something like 50,000 xp it would be overpowered. The price outweighs the power, which honestly, isn't much better than a spinfusor and a teaspoon of competence.

As it stands Soldiers only have the energy pack over techs. Meanwhile techs have -Two aimbot turrets that have 900 health and do 65 damage per shot with no fall-off -Arguably the best grenade avaialble to mediums -An explosive weapon thats comparable to the medium spinfusor -Motion mines that give free wallhacks This is coming from a tech player since December.
