So I found a reliable way to get the game to launch on my PC! 1) Delete Tribes.ini in "Documents/My Games/Tribes Ascend/TribesGame" 2) Open the launcher, reinstall prerequisites. 3) Launch the game [I]twice[/I] 4) Open task manager, end the focused window (which will have crashed) and put the other in to focus. This sounds ridiculous, but it totally gets the game to run.

Of course as a tradeoff it reloads slower and the bullet arcs. But it still seems pretty damn powerful.

Getting rid of depth of field and Ambient Occlusion is a 15-20% fps boost in my experience.

Same with the Thumper.[/QUOTE] Bolt Launcher has 1/3 the splash of the light spinfusor. The arch makes it not as effective past 100m. The lack of a trail is what makes it seem so good. As infilitrator I would rather have the bolt launcher then the stealth spinfusor, it is even quieter and harder too see. Its the best way to fight beowulfs. Also did you guys know that in the Beowulf secondary gunner, machine gun thing. It fires faster if you can just click fast? Normal ROF is 10 rounds a second. If you use a macro/auto clicker it can go up to 25 rounds a second. It means that shrikes get eaten by it, along with everything else that isn't grav cycles or other beowulfs.

Question: If I buy a perk, is it avaible for every class? Or I have to buy each perk for each class specifically?

loving this game, hating my 140 ping, even on brazillian servers :(

My booster managed to go from 15 to 19... yay!

My game likes to boost my ping for absolutely no reason sometimes. For example, earlier today I was getting maybe 40-50 ping, then the game just stops. When it starts moving again I hold tab and see my ping slowly decreasing from over 1000 back to the usual 40-50. Sometimes it jumps to 200 or 300 but thats about it.
