I missed the days where old games didn't have unlocks it was an equal playing field. Plus it was less frustrating, anyone played BF3? I don't want to spend 5 weeks straight to unlock a gun I want.

I don't know, I sorta like the progression in the game as you unlock stuff the more you play. However as a fair LAN game it's best with something like quake or unreal.

Those were the days.

I think a Tribes Classic gamemode would be fitting to my needs.

Don't get me wrong things like this used to suck me in, it is kind of like how an MMORPG works, it sucks you by making you work for better gear. I used to love MMORPG's but I just stopped caring about silly little things in a video game, now they just bore me, no matter what one I play.

I think it's that less-visible tracer that makes the Bolt Launcher useful, people can't dodge it as well. On paper it sucks for the pathfinder; more damaging disc jump, aim requires more focus, slower fire, useless at range, etc. But it feels so satisfying to use. I'd say the Light Spinfusor is overall better, but the bolt launcher more fun.
