I'm all for Blood eagle (Doesn't mean i don't play Diamond sword now and then) because the voice actor is bad-ass,and we have claws (Or possibly talons) for our meelees.
Besides,what sounds better "Butchers" or "Sandrakers".
Also i now play the raider class with the stealth perk (Or whatever you call it).

Is there an official story or do we just go by what the announcers say? My interpretation is that the blood eagle was just chilling out in their many brotastic worlds when the jealous pretentious (possibly nazi) sandrakers decided they deserve what the blood eagle worked so hard for.

I was contemplating doombringer because of the machine gun and that deployable force field but as soon as i saw that red spinfusor i knew to buy infiltrator.

I thought Blood Eagle were a rebel force that were from the Diamond Swords. If you're on Diamond Sword they something about the Blood Eagle being traitors.

There is quite a lot of Tribes backstory, of which 0% exists in this game. It basically started off with a tribe called the Phoenix (later renamed to Children of the Phoenix after their leader died) split off from a galactic empire. In retaliation, the empire sent an elite taskforce known as the Blood Eagles to go kick their ass. After a while the Blood Eagles adapted to the tribal way of life, and associated themselves more with being a tribe than being part of the empire. Along the way two other tribes, Starwolf and Diamond Sword split off from the two. And then they fought and killed each other and all that stuff. We don't know when T:A takes place, or what significance (if any) it has to the story. I thought it was strange that Blood Eagle only fights Diamond Sword, though, since they are a more minor faction. Maybe we'll see the other tribes show up in some form, or maybe the others don't exist anymore.
