Would it be possible to link a credit card to my account but pay with my balance? I really don't want to charge anything from my parents CC.

I believe so, I think the credit card requirement is just a check that the account is legitimate.

its prolly so if you go "lol force refund" or whatever, they can charge your card... or at least thats what i would do if some asshole did that...
So I still have the problem with my account, seems like it's just gone for some reason. Support still hasn't gotten back to me so I guess I just need to start over. :frown:
ughh, 5 days with the booster and i've started to lose interest in Tribes: Ascend as a whole. This happens with many games, including Battlefield 3, Mass Effect 3 and whatnot.
Is the stealth spinfusor worth saving up for?
Is the stealth spinfusor worth saving up for?
hell yes, i love the smg but the spinfusor is sooooo nice for picking off the radar from a distance if you cant get close to it

not to mention blue plates

If you play much Infiltrator then hell yes.
You must have short attention span then, I guess. All the games you spoke of have many many hours of content. Both SP and MP. (Although, Tribes is MP only)
I've played Battlefield 3 for around 4 months after it came out, most of that was non-stop, which is why I went away from it. Mass Effect had no replayability for the singleplayer due to the endings ruining any replayability and sympathy I had for the characters in the game, and I only really got it for the story, not the multi-player.
[editline]12th March 2012[/editline]
Oh and I couldn't really play Battlefield 3 Singleplayer because of the many millions of bugs with it preventing me from moving on with the story. Apart from that it was a great game, but nothing different to any other shooter, just 'Go here, shoot that, move and dodge bullets if you can'.
Some ones in particular, based off my experiences with them:
-Bolt launcher: this does more damage and travels faster, also players can barely see the bolt, and arcs are barely a disadvantage; so it's pretty much an upgrade to the light SF.
-MIRV: this is supposed to do less damage, but it dealt something like 1600 damage to me when I was standing in its radius as a heavy.
-falcon: the ease-of-use factor is so high, the decrease in potential dps is irrelevant.
-LAR: one burst does more damage than a point-blank shotgun shot, and it's way more versatile.
-stealth spinfusor: pretty much a must-have for infs, it turns them from a sub-par class to near godlike: do nearly as much dps as the stickies do but with infinitely more ease-of-use.
-Thumper: no words
[editline]12th March 2012[/editline]
Also when I talk about ease of use that doesn't just apply to noobs - it's about how many hits you actually put on target - and even experienced players can't land every shot with the nova blaster.
I use spinfusor if I'm going for the flag, and bolt launcher if I'm chasing. The spinfusor's extra splash damage makes it great for clearing the flag stand before you grab the flag.
Oh wow. I joined a match right as it ended and got a whopping 6 xp. At least it counted for first win of the day.
I always bind use to E in every game I play myself (unless the game has leaning).
Growing up with Half-Life has conditioned me to it completely.
My current setup in Tribes is E for use, F for grenade, and G for melee.

I had it that way for a while but I use grenades more than I use melee so having it closer to WASD helps.
Mine is ESDF for movement like the old Tribes games, then g for grenade, r for use, a for melee.

ANIME GIRLS
There needs to be something after obsidian.
I got the repair badge all the way to obsidian (600) in 6 matches.
Jesus christ the Doombringers chaingun is seriously overpowered.
Is it really just stand still and track the enemy dudes with your mouse?
They're almost impossible to take down as a pathfinder, not to mention they seem to be able to dance around as easily and quickly as a pathfinder can.
So much for heavy, slow moving hitters eh.
I have 18k xp. Should I get Doombringer, Brute, or the Spinfusor for the Soldier? Or should I save up for something else? I kind of want to get all the classes, but it seems like Doombringer and Brute are like the Juggernaut and Raider.
Join up to the game and see a level 41 sentinel on the other team with 30 kills (8 minutes into the game).
Nope.

Why am I the only one on my team who can kill a flag grabber in 70% of the games I'm in.
That last game wasn't fun at all, people just swarmed where ever I wasn't. I didn't even need to try to get my shots, people just moved in straight lines. It was awful. And they were 50% heavies.
The game before I got a slayer as an offensive sniper on Drydock.
I need to join a team so I can play some pugs, I want to get better and what I'm fighting currently isn't doing that. Oh god, what happened with TF2 is happening again.

What? Doombringer is so slow, it's so difficult to even get from the flag to the generator room as you have to wait for his energy to recharge. I've never gotten over 150 km\h as doombringer not counting weird glitches and projectile boosts.

Are you joking? DB is pretty hard to play. Maybe you found a very good one with super heavy max out or something.

They are easy to kill as Pathfinder. Its not hard to get the 3 direct hits it takes to kill with the Bolt Launcher. The bullets are damn slow from it. With proper strafing its easy to avoid most SMG fire at close to mid-range, which is where you tend to have your duels.
You just need to remember that, with the chaingun he only has sustained damage. If you go behind a hill for a second he either needs to stop firing or waste ammo. All you need to do it focus on the advantages of burst damage.
The way a doombringer will try to counter that though is to stay on a slope where you won't have something to splash him with. Which is how to play against aoe weapons, you get a positional advantage and exploit it to either kill them, or run away.
If someone wants to mess up a spinfusor/thumper player you stay on a downslope to that person. If you jump properly, if its not a direct hit it will not connect any where near you due to there only being a small spot to aim where splash damage will actually occur. You can take away the ease of use a AOE burst damage weapon has and give rapid fire weapons a significant edge. As a pathfinder to counter this, you switch to your secondary. The Shotgun is an amazing finisher and not bad in duels at all. If you aim correctly, center dot over target at under 10 meters, 5-6 pellets will connect for 400-480. When trying to kill any mid-air person as Pathfinder the Shotgun makes swiss cheese out of them with proper aim.
The shotgun spread is only vertically it seems, it basically stays in a vertical line going slightly above and below the middle of the crosshair. Try it out in target practice and you will see.
Downloaded this game a couple nights ago, i've only played 4 rounds because i have quite a bit of work to do but it is awesome so far. I am useless at pathfinder :S
How do you change speeds to sanics again?
[editline]13th March 2012[/editline]
And yeah spinfusor pathfinder ftw. Hate the bolt launcher, easier to kill with but does more damage to yourself so you cant go as fast.
Extras > code(something) > GOTTAGOFAST
How the fuck does that guy get to 270 sanics, I can fall straight down to terminal velocity / use all my health boosting and cant make it past 230.
[editline]13th March 2012[/editline]
Yes I have all the unlocks.

do yourself and everyone else a favor and play doombringer. youll soon realize its a lot harder than hold mouse1 and win, as you and so many other ignorant people believe.

Going down slopes perfectly, and boosting yourself with grenades and spinfuser shots.
How large of a boost do the boosters give?
Because I kind of want to buy vip or such in order to get Stealth Spinfusor. I find Infiltrator an easy class to play already, and that weapon would make it GODLIKE.
