Tribes: Ascend v2: I went slow once and it was awful - Games

I've been using sentinel and seem to be getting really good with the standard rifle. There is little more satisfying than to shoot down some light happy-go-lucky, flag-grabbing, sandraker midair when he is 40,000M away.

So someone on steam is whining about how tribes ascend is a "Pay2win" game, even though he hasn't even played it against other people yet. Just got this game installed and such, when I click join queue nothing happens besides the game making a noise.. do I just wait? nothing on the screen changes to make me think I have joined a queue

Started this game recently, pathing prediction makes for pretty fun gameplay. What's the first class you guys unlocked? I'm kind of thinking about Engie so I can help my team better. I've got more kills with the pistol than the rifle. Sentinel players really need to learn hide their drop jammers better. I constantly spot enemy jammers and go investigate, resulting in +250 for Martial Arts.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change the music that plays when you grab the flag?

So I was just playing this for the first time, was using the juggernaut or whatever it is called, the heavy dude that you have unlocked to start with. I was top score of both teams with 13k (CTF mode) and then I got disconnected. I am wondering if my stats and XP gain and stuff were saved or if they only save at the end of games?

Spamming the Juggernaut's Fusion Mortar is perfect for people who suck like me, using it in small hallways or on-top of flags is hilarious, got a triple kill when I shot one in a generator room last round. Also out of curiosity, have they given any information about other plans for microtransactions? Is it going to stay free for everyone but easier to get if you pay or will they add cash exclusives? I haven't been following the development very closely.

Downloaded the installer, which gives me an error when run. Holy mother of god the raider with potential energy is amazing. Couple of shield pack upgrades and very conservative use of the jetpack means I can take 2 heavy spinfusors and live.

Had two people on our team yesterday for 3 games or so that would ski to the flag at a decent speed, hit the platform, stop, walk to the flag, then jetpack down and ski at like 80 sanics back to base. We still won all those games though because Brutebro I was playing with kept half their team busy in the gen. It's hilarious to watch a team slowly lose because they don't understand what CTF is.

You are basically paying for the gold, the VIP status is just for spending money during the beta phase. If you want the 50% VIP bonus you can just buy the cheapest gold package.

Also I am still having problems with the menus and stuff not responding. Like clicking join queue just making a sound and not putting me in a queue, and when trying to upgrade equipment it will pop up the confirmation and I click yes and it doesnt buy it. Anyone know why this is happening
