I have a rather sandraker question: Your deaths rest points from the exp? Because I kill 14 in one match and I die 15 and I barely got 500 exp.

I highly doubt deaths count against your score considering committing suicide is a key component to the game.
I highly doubt deaths count against your score considering committing suicide is a key component to the game.
So many near flag caps where I splat on the floor and the flag lands on the jugg and he gets the cap.
Diamond Sword's side just seems terrible.
Because they're filthy sandrakers. The sandraker side ALWAYS sucks.
I highly doubt deaths count against your score considering committing suicide is a key component to the game.
Something the playerbase develop doesn't make it a key element to the game, though.
Something the playerbase develop doesn't make it a key element to the game, though.
Oh, really? In the original Tribes game, skiing was a glitch, which you did by rapidly tapping the jump button when going down a hill. It was originally found by the playerbase, and put into Tribes 2 as an actual feature. I don't know about you, but to me it looks like a pretty key element now.
Go fast Also upgrade turrets/radars/generators before getting vehicles/using tact strikes.
I basically already do that :v:

If they add new things like a perk that allows you to insta spawn after you suicide when you returned your flag, then yeah, it'll actually be a possible key feature, but right now it's just something a player do, not intended by the game, for now, at least!
All of my rage. I had the enemy flag and was doing a solid 215-230 sanics by using my thrust while going downhill. Our base was completely devoid of enemies, and I had a good approach trajectory going, so it looked like a guaranteed capture. As I approach our flagstand though, I notice that it's sort of oddly shaped. But going 230 sanics didn't leave me a lot of room for thinking. Short story shorter, someone had put an Inventory Station or whatever those orbital drop inventory/supply things are called on top of our flagstand. I bounced off it, failing to deliver the flag, and was promptly destroyed by the 3-5 people chasing after me. I get that it was there to prevent the enemy from capturing our flag, but it just reminded me of the time a Juggerfat had parked his ass on our flag stand and I bounced off of his thick metal head.
would spending $20+ on the gold/xp/booster things be a waste? isn't the game being released in full in like a month?
The rank/stats/weapons you unlock in the beta are also saved for the full game
so ive been banned for the last 3 days, anything interesting happen in the last 5ish pages?
any word on skins and voice packs? please
Destroying Shrikes using a gravcycle while having 50 hp sure feels great. Shame I killed myself by bumping onto a wall minute after destructing that flying abomination.
Because they're filthy sandrakers. The sandraker side ALWAYS sucks.
I don't understand, why does the community in general hate sandrakers? Is there something vital I've missed?
I don't understand, why does the community in general hate sandrakers? Is there something vital I've missed?
Play on diamond sword. Then play on blood eagle. Listen to the announcer.
Hah, I just joined a deathmatch game and someone was skiing directly towards me when I spawned. I got a lucky blue plate special. The game ended about a minute later, my team was pretty far behind when I joined.
I don't understand, why does the community in general hate sandrakers? Is there something vital I've missed?
Silly little fad/meme
swords side is much better for sniping from the flag stand. for some reason i have now 181 hours played, when it was like 31 yesterday, my fastest ski is 131, when i already made 250 cap, this game would be perfect if they just use steamworks and steam features,
Yeah I randomly have like 160 hours now. I was hoping that was a glitch :v
diamond sword isn't even that bad of a tribe. they mind their own business and are generally philosophical beings. blood eagle i don't think can even be considered a tribe with how close they are with the empire. sworders 4 lyfe
why does the prism mine even exist it's pretty much the dumbest unlockable ever
I don't understand, why does the community in general hate sandrakers? Is there something vital I've missed?
Basically, here's how it goes; /v/ and reddit had a tribes match once. /v/, despite nearly losing it, pulled through and won with an unprepared team against the practiced redditors. /v/ were playing Blood Eagle, reddit were playing Diamond Sword. Because /v/ is still considered better than reddit, this led to many jokes about "filthy sandraker scum"; however, such jokes have now been going on for so long that we have people actually trying to rationalise why the butchers are better than the sandrakers, with reasons ranging from announcer preference, pledging allegiance to a fictional empire, being more tacticool, and so on.

If anything we should be praising the 'br? huehue' with 160 ping /v/ had on their team
I don't understand, why does the community in general hate sandrakers? Is there something vital I've missed?
Because the guy who voice acted Vegeta is the Blood Eagle announcer. Don't be bossed around by women, get shit done with Vegeta. Join Blood Eagle today.

is the fucking thumper filled with blanks or something? 80% of the shots I hit don't do any fucking damage, and every now and then the round I fire doesn't even explode
Thought it was something to do with the lore?
Not really; in the lore, Blood Eagle are brutal (their nickname "butchers" is derived from their practice of skinning defeated foes and using them as war banners, rumoured to occasionally be done while they're still alive), conveniently ignore the part of traditional tribal honour that tells them to accept surrender, still seem to have very strong ties with the empire that the rest of the tribes all agreed to remain separate from (getting advanced equipment from the imperial outpost world is remarkable easy for them), and generally speaking, are huge dicks. However, that being said, they are apparently really courteous hosts. Diamond sword, on the other hand, have deliberately avoided stoking the Butcher/Starwolf conflict that's been destabilising the entire wilderzone by siding with either, are essentially shaolin monks in space with grenade launchers, and generally are pretty reasonable and bro tier towards everyone else.
If anything we should be praising the 'br? huehue' with 160 ping /v/ had on their team
That I do agree with.
Llama grab on Arx Novena as a Pathfinder, resulting in me being chased by 2 jigglenauts, leaving me with 12 hp to capture the flag. VGTG.
