I like Sunstar. It's an easy map to learn and the generator-room is great for harassing idiots. There was one in particular who kept repairing the generator while standing still and I kept shooting him down the pit. Every time I killed him he cried "CAMP SOME MORE KID" :v:

You know, after getting back to Tribes I started playing Pathfinder from the beginning. Most of my time is using him, and Impacts really helped me in turning while skiing. Now I need to get exp for a perk AND a thrust pack. But it's okay, if it will make my base defending buddies happy I can get used to it. Still, I am quite sad.

Well, I think that perhaps they should update Egocentric so the last upgrade makes it so you don't drop the flag if you use an Impact Nitron. If you use them to boost, you should have Egocentric anyways.

I'm liking the impact nitron change. It means you have to boost yourself BEFORE you get the flag instead of doing it on the flagstand. More difficult but also more rewarding. The new version of bella owns also. I've been playing some games with a low-ranked friend, and it's pretty amazing how much BETTER the games are there. None of the whining and 4-4 games with overtime is pretty common. It's also pretty fun to decimate everyone :v:

I hope they at least make a new perk, or change egocentric's final upgrade to allow holding on to the flag when you use impact nitrons.

Considering a class change because pathfinder is now too weak to be any fun/do any damage. Getting chased by three heavies that can keep up at 190 sanics? No thanks.

Yeah to me the nitron change makes sense. You could llama grab pretty easily, then use 2 nitrons and be at something like 160+

New map is really fun, even though it's small. Also is anyone else crashing to desktop after every game since the patch?

The vehicle limit thing seems pretty dumb, especially since so few people use them as it is.

You still have hills, a jetpack and a spinfusor. You don't need anything else.

All the pathfinder change means is that you have to plan your runs better, and keep up your speed.

I'm an awful person, I bought the $10 gold pack for VIP and then spent it on the Tech primary thumper.. on the plus side I'm getting amazing scores.

Travelling at speed makes you unable to go down hills though, you just fly over them, and pathfinder hasn't got the energy to go up high and come back down.
